Just because every socialist country in the world has people wanting to leave those countries, we still have morons who think that it is better than what we have. GM and Chrysler should be allowed to fail miserably for the problems they have caused and so should every bank that has stolen from us. If you work for them tough. Join the real world! The quality of US cars rank in the toilet for a reason. Remember the YUGO made under socialist circumstances? Just because Democrats think they can reinflate the bubble that has burst is no reason to try. Free market economies say that bad companies no matter how large or small need to go away. Are you glad to see that after a 2 week vacation you're still being stalked by crazed socialists? No matter what you take the time to think about and write about a non-thinker will be ready with a pre-formulated talking point.

We have a great side-by-side comparison here in the states:

Plants that manufacture high quality cars at competitive prices and the little 3 that make crap and are dying. The biggest difference is the unions. Sure the management played a role-they caved to the union thugs and their demands. The die was cast long ago and now we are seeing the result: huge companies being dragged into oblivion by ignorant short-sighted union socialists.

You are, no doubt, anti-labor and anti-government. You may have a change of opinion as you get older. Being a journalist does not appear to be a paid career anymore. The vast majority of bloggers work for free. Writing novels seems to be going down that content for free path. You may need government provided healthcare one day. You may have no income except for your monthly ss check. You might need a job. Your mentor, Kudlow, is wrong. Free market capitalism is not the best path to prosperity for the majority of Americans. I stand corrected, he never says for the majority. He, and I assume you, are really only interested in the top 1 percent.
