Obama Adviser Chu: Global Warming May Force California to be Abandoned

Here is the money graph, via Drudge, from an LA Times interview with Energy Secretary Steven Chu:

"I don't think the American public has gripped in its gut what could happen," he said. "We're looking at a scenario where there's no more agriculture in California." And, he added, "I don't actually see how they can keep their cities going" either.

The Big One

I don't think anyone is going to have to worry about California. The scientist are saying that they are overdue for the Big One (earthquake). With Mt. Redoubt in Alaska ready to Pop and all the quakes they are having on that side of the Country, California is going to be "sliced off" pretty soon anyways. I hope Maria can tread water!!!

Why would California be abandoned? With all of it agriculture!! Impossible!!
