Michelle Malkin: Thanks But No Thanks on Stimulus

Corn Flakes

After Obama and cohorts in Congress triple the deficit in 09 alone, Corn Flakes may be very valuable, and certainly expensive.

Stimulating?

Well, Mr. Meth, with B.O. in the white house & Dems in control of the House & the Senate, we'll probably get to see if you're right.

Butt in 4-years when we're still knee deep in it, will you have the intellectual honesty to say you were wrong?

Mitty of MO @ Jan 08, 2009 11:13:44 AM

Hmmm...

...you know you are right when liberals attack you personally instead of taking on your point.

The bottom line is Obama is in a unique place in history to take a stand against spending and let this recession ride out. But as Malkin adroitly says, it won't happen. He doesn't have the courage to do that, despite him being in a position to make it so.

Malkin

No one is born with a right to a painfree life. We need to accept the pain of our own mistakes, blame ourselves for poor/bad judgment not find someone else to blame. It is nasty to ask for short term gains at the expense of our next 2 to 4 generations

Dick of VA @ Jan 08, 2009 10:17:46 AM

Heck No

If Michelle Malkin becomes the chief of the council of Economic Advisers, Lord help us all.

Makes sense. The problem is lack of wealth due to wasting money on needless wars, shipping wealth and production to China, gambling on tax breaks, and so forth.

A "stimulus," i.e., gamble, is much like a bankrupt spendthrift trying to double up on his profligacy by borrowing enough money for one more trip to Vegas. "One more stimulus and my ship will come in." His problem was gambling, and his solution is such a long shot it is hardly worth respectable consideration.

America refuses to face reality. We need Michelle Malkin as chief of the Council of Economic Advisers.

Michelle Malaga,

I would give the corn flakes the advantage. Linking to Malkin really brings you to a new low Mr. Peth.

Dang, but ain't it a hoot how the overpaid talking heads can tell YOU what you don't need. And some others of them can see that it's re-printed in USNWR.

Michelle Malagaladingdong

Knows as much about economics as a box of corn flakes.
