Pelosi: Contraception is Good Stimulus for the Economy

Tired of paying for unwanted babies

Family planning helps women control how many children they have weather it be 10 or none. If women did not have access to birth control, wwe'd be paying tons of money in welfare benefits to women who did not want children in the first place, because they knew they coudlnt afford it or would be single parents and it would be tough. I'm not sure Nancy Pelosi was that far off the mark.

Poorly stated, but well founded

Any comments regarding a divisive topic is bound to reignite the polemics buried under the thin veneer of reality check we have all witnessed and continue to live through.

Politicians rarely dare to step on this minefield, unless they hope more reason will sway the emotional and ethical balance.

Before jumping on the hate mail bandwagon, do yourself a favor and read "Freakonomics" by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner ... a cold, if irreverential wake up call to reality.

I am by no means endorsing a population-control policy, but a caution to self control in difficult economic times.

In response "To perverted reality"-

In response "To perverted reality"-just like we should not "group" other people together, lets not group all American women together. Not all American women agree with abortion or with Nancy Pelosi.

You will get your point across much better if you do not call women whores or tell us that we have lost our souls. I agree with the point that abortion is wrong and should not be a right. However, if I did not, your argument would not have persuaded me, it would have energized me to fight people like you. Be careful how you present your views, especially if your goal is to win people over to your side and save the lives of the innocent babies..

Well done!

I cannot gainsay either the article or the three comments, but please allow me to add that Mrs. Pelosi is as confused on what her own church, the Catholic Church, teaches on abortion--It teaches that it is instrinsically evil--as she is about economics. The best comment any of us can make is to tell the truth, the Emperor has no clothes, and then vote her out of office. The sooner the better. 50 million abortions since R v. W. Pelosi's politics will only increase the number but more rapidly than ever before. She has excommunicated herself. If only her bishop would formalize it.

In pursuit of China

Gee, next it will be a one child per couple and penalties for having boys. Best of all, it's January and we have 2 years of this. Then, probably 2-6 more years after that because enough people won't be taxpayers and will gladly send their bosses and the achievers to the tax collector to be cared for just a little longer. There are thousands of people in San Francisco that I've never met, yet I truly hate them for putting this maniac in office.

How about Pelosi deport her children and grandkids to help aid the economy. Oh, wait, there must be something special about HER children. Everybody else should voluntarily give up their fertility because of Congress's inability to be fiscally responsible? This is as backwards as it gets (or does that award go to Blago?).

Pelosi:Contraception is Good Stimulus for the Economy

Welcome to Socialism 101. These scary people actually believe their own drivel or worse they are woefully ignorant about how economies work. This is what you get when hordes of non-voters are bused in to vote by commandment. Dependant lemmings vote in bad leaders.
