Cap-and-Trade Protectionism

First, Buy American. Now this: Energy Secretary Stephen Chu told a House subcommittee yesterday that if countries such as India and China do not limit carbon emissions as the U.S. is planning  to do, then tariff should be considered “in order to protect American industries." The Chinese say such move would be a "disaster" and  illegal under World Trade Organization rules.

Me: Hey, cap-and-trade is turning out to be a terrific two-fer. It will raise energy costs here at home and make imports more expensive.

It isn't just Obama

It isn't just the President, although he is the biggest player.

I've written, called, and emailed my representatives more in the last 6 months than in my whole life...DO IT !

My representatives know I'm Watching !

Cap and Trade

All the idiots that voted for Obama and the Dems will get the life they deserve. Higher gas, higher heating costs, higher food costs, higher everything - except of course our standard of living that will just go down the toilet (Maybe there will be a toilet tax as well). BUT HEY isn't that what you wanted. To bring everyone down so there would be a level playing field.

Just remember that those on the bottom will alway be on the bottom because they are expecting someone from the top to give them hand outs. All you stupid 18-28 year old who voted for Obama guess what - good luck on getting a private sector job and your younger siblings will never be able to afford a house at 20% interest rates. Oh and that nice house or business or cash that you think you will inherit from you parents - you won't get it - nope it will go to pay for someone's 10 kids who spent their life on welfare and crack.

CAP and TRADE(TAX)

It's not about emissions.

It's about world government, money and for government to grow.

CAP and TRADE(TAX) lowers the standard of living and increase the price of EVERYTHING.

It's just more out of control massive government.

It's an enormous federal ENRON on steroids.
