Santelli's Not Alone, New Poll Shows Little Support for Obama Housing Plan

It's not just RIck Santelli, gang. Right now it's "No!" rather than "Hell No!", but American don't seem to care for President Obama's housing plan. Here are some key numbers from Rasmussen:

... 55% of American adults say the federal government would be rewarding bad behavior by providing mortgage subsidies to financially troubled homeowners. Among investors, 65% hold that view. ... 77% of Republicans and 60% of those not affiliated with either major political party believe the mortgage help subsidizes bad behavior. Most Democrats (51%) disagree.  ... 76% of Americans are not willing to pay higher taxes to help people who cannot afford to make their mortgage payments. ... 14% say higher taxes for this purpose are okay with them. ... 10% are undecided.  ... Most Americans--53%--also oppose a plan for the federal government to pay off a portion of the mortgages only for people who can’t afford their current payments. ... 32% think it’s a good idea. Support for that plan is even lower among homeowners.  ... Just 33% of all adults support having the federal government to pay up to $100,000 of the mortgage balance owned by every single homeowner in America.  ... 51% reject such a plan. Even though they would directly benefit, a majority of homeowners (52%) don’t like that plan.

The stock market is not just for the rich...

Hey! Don't you realize that the majority of retirees make their money from pension plans that rely on the market? Please, the stock market is not just the dominion of the rich. STOP THE CLASS WARFARE! It's unfair.

Where's "the rest of the story", Rick?

Rick, you have neglected to tell the whole story. From the beginning what part did you and your Wall Street and Chicago Exchange cronies play in this mess? Come on people do you really believe this guy who earns his money in stocks & derivates really cares about you and your neighbor?

Wake up, America! His rant was a plant spear headed by the Koch family. Who are they? They are multi billion dollar owners of one of the largest private corporations in America. What do they do? They’re into commodities trading, petroleum, chemicals technology equipment, ranching, securities, finance, etc. Get the picture? They don’t give a rat’s patoot about you and your neighbor. They’re using you to protect their millions. Do some research before you let your emotions take over. Geez!

When are we going to start the "Tea Party?"

We can't let our country go down without a fight! Too much blood has been shed in the defense of liberty to allow our country to become communist. These left wing loons must be confronted. Good men and women must speak out in oposition to these traitors. They can not be permitted to destroy the values that this country was founded on. The future of our children and grandchildren rest in our hands. Don't let it be said as it has been said, that we were "cowards" when history called upon us to act.
