Betting Markets: Obama Lead Collapses

Superblogger Jeff Lehner points out that Barack Obama's lead over John McCain over at Intrade has almost disappeared. At last check, Obama leads, 51 to 48. He has consistently led by 20 points or more for months. As Lehner says, "Palin is truly a game-changer. I continue to be amazed that so many in the media cannot grasp this." Tell me about it.

Dot com companies ... lots of hype ... opening at $100/share ... trading at 400/1 PE ... all the sudden people figure out, if they are not SELLING anything. Sooner or later ...

POP goes the bubble.

Update

As an update, McCain is now AHEAD at Intrade.

There is a reason Obama had to run as a 1st term senator... the more people get to know him, the more they regret his nomination.
