A First Look at (Sarah) Palinomics

gerbil nation

Interesting how the media has made Palin a household brand name in less than three weeks. Problem is you have to listen and eat up all that Gibson Palin food to be in the (so called election game). People are like that though they split up in teams at the office like gerbils on treadmills all easy prey for what ever stage the media wants to set up. In this case its the republican stage. As far as crowd management goes the republicans have been resting up for the end of this (so called) democratic race. From here on out its an insult contest and has nothing to do with what will happen in the end game.

Palin

You must not have a brain to consider voting for Palin is a no brainer.

Palin- A non vetted lightweight??

Lets get serious. After reveiwing her accomplishments in such

a short time, I have to say the real non vetted lightweight would have to be Obama. With a team like she and McCain portray

and with their incredible energy for making things right it's

a no brainer.

Palin

Total nonsense and complete rubbish. Palin is a non vetted lightweight who is not qualified to be Vp.This is an insult to ALL Americans to have Palin on a national ticket.

"I grew up in an oil town. We had fine schools and paid our teachers well. Then oil got depleted. The tax base went away and the town now relies on prisons as its economic base. The schools are a shell of what they once were and the test scores suck. Even with tertiary recovery and high prices driving oil companies to drill, when the oil is gone the boom is over. Alaska is going to be worse when the wells run dry."

Actually, RKV, this demonstrates a painful lesson that many municipalities and states refuse to learn: don't depend upon one sector in expecting to support your entire economy. Just as you need to diversify your stock portfolio, you also need to diversify your economy. Why do you think the housing meltdown and the subsequent meltdown in financials have not dragged the American economy down as bad as so many have predicted?

Low population, taxes on extractive industries and depletion
