Obama’s Needless Social Security Tax Hikes

Presidency

I am 72 years old and have voted every year since I became 18. I have always listened to the candidates and made my decision, and voted. After Bush. (whom I did not vote for) It is really hard to know what is best. I used to vote for the individual, and what I thought he could do for our good country, but Bush has EVERYTHING in such a total mess. I do not feel like either one of our candidates will do what is good for any of us.

I was hoping that Hillary would be the Dem. candidate, and then I was hoping she may get VP. But, after the Mr. Obama isn't doing anything about that. My vote will stay at home on Nov.2008.

I don't suppose that will upset any of the people running, unless they lose by only a few votes. But, that way, I will not have any of their stupid actions, on my conscionce.

The Politicians, are NOT for the people. They are for their own, selfish, actions.

I get $640.00 SS each month, work full time, and some part time work and still can't make ends meet. I am a heart patient, among other things, and have never really complained until now. The millions, and billions that our politicians. EARN ????

make me sick. They are corrupt, rude, and selfish !!!!!!!!!!!!

It takes a poor, loving and caring person to impress me-----Not the likes of all of you.

Why solve social security?

As long as SS is in shambles, sheep believe that the government can help and the Dems are happy. Why anyone would think that the gov't could actually fix it baffles me. The ability to break something does not inherently give you the experience to fix it. The only solution is to phase it out and let the people keep and manage their own money. Do people actually still believe it is a retirement plan?

Fox7777 is naive

Why elect Obama Prez if he needs to have other's brains working to provide him guidance INSTEAD of his own ? He is simply NOT qualified to be Prez, no matter who is pulling his strings (gee, 143 days in the Senate - Wow !!).

Heaven help us all if people like you are numerous enough to get Obama elected ! He will dismantle our military and open our shores to whomever wishes to walk in and take over !

Barack Obama can solve Social Security

Barack Obama will be surrounded by a smart team that can really solve the problems we face.

John McCain is confused, showing signs of dementia and is mindlessly spouting dirty politics talking points from corrupt Republicans. Another four years of Bush would totally destroy our country and this is what the American people would get with McCain. For the sake of our country, we must make sure that Barack Obama is elected President.
