Energy and McCain's Summer Surge

By James Pethokoukis

OK, the new L.A .Times-Bloomberg poll has Obama +2 vs. Obama +12 in June. The Battleground poll has McCain +1 vs. Obama+2 in May. And Zogby-Reuters has McCain +5 vs. Obama +7 in July. I think the internal numbers in the Battleground poll are quite revealing:

1) McCain went from +5 to +15 vs. Obama on the "strong leader" question.

2) McCain went from -24 to -15 on "represents middle-class values."

3) McCain went from -20 to -9 on "fights for people like me."

4) McCain went from -19 to +3 on "can reduce gas and energy prices."

5) McCain went from -21 to -9 on "will create jobs and improve the economy."

6) In the poll, 40 percent of respondents rated the economy as the first or second most important issue, while 29 percent rated gas prices as the first or second most important issue.

Me: It looks as if "Drill Here, Drill Now" has helped McCain hit a gusher.

Dear Obomaites Beware

You want big Government mandating more social programs-

You want to pay more in taxes

You want to have open boarders, more Illegals, spending your tax $

You want Liberal TV and news Media propaganda to feel good

You want constant whining and deception from the White House

You want the Obama world tour

You want America to be in a new world order behind China, and ???

You want to pull out of Iraq before the war is won

You want a guy who cannot make decisions below his pay grade

You want a loser vote for the inexperienced Obama

America will get what it deserves if they vote another Republican back into office after what Bush and Bush have done.

"Drill here, drill now is the mantra by which the befuddled old adulterous beer dealer plans to DENY you any sensible reform of health care in America. Wake up, idiots. You're being had."

Daniel David, reveal your joker self again. Only YOU cared about John McCain's beer dealing wife, as if there is anything illegal about owning a beer distribution company.

The only sheep here is you.
