GOP Veep Watch: Fiorina vs. Palin vs. Whitman

Palin

Sarah Palin is McCain's only choice if he wants to win. Not only that, it would highlight Obama's choice to NOT pick Clinton. I think it would definitely put McCain in the driver's seat.

Whitman

Why doesnt Whitman get more attention? With the door being openned by the Biden selection, McCain can attract women, cover economics and maybe use some of her money....

Win... win.... win!

Just say No Way...

Former Pennsylvania Gov. & 1st Homeland Security Director Tom Ridge or Def.Sec.Bob Gates would be wise, solid choices. Say No thanks to the Gingrich/Barr "Mullahs" favs, Romney & Huckabee.

Carly Fiorina - VP

INTELLIGENT, SOLVES ECONOMY EXPERTISE ISSUE FOR MCCAIN , GETS CLINTON FEMALE VOTES WITH GRAVITAS , AND IS SUPREMELY MEDIA SAVVY AND SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ABOUT VIAGRA -BCP COVERAGE ISSUE.

Meg For VP

Maybe what this country needs is a smart, motivated, over-achiever, with brilliant friends and contacts.

Maybe we don't need another politician. We need someone who is obsessed with success for themselves and the country.

Remember,it's the economy,stupid! Meg,would never forget that.

Plus, Meg is respected around the world. That would already be an improvement over the dodo in office now.

If that phone rings at 3 am, Meg will stay calm, and then kick someone's butt if she needs to.

Meg is starting to look like a winner to me!

But seriously ...

Meg Whitman, Sarah "Baracuda" Palin, and Carly Fiorina just a Heartbeat away from the Oval Office? You're kidding, right?

Even 37 year-old Bobby "The Exorcist" Jindal has more experience in public office than these 3 combined.

Only in America!

Louie of MO @ Aug 03, 2008 19:58:10 PM

PALIN, please! This woman has more b*lls than the entire Republican old guard. And if Momo-Mitt is on the ticket.....I may not find time to vote.

Try Again

Reasons why McCain will pick either Pawlenty or Romney instead of the 3 include:

PALIN -- Poor Timing: Troopergate scandal just now coming to the surface; this one has a combustible mix of sex, nepotism, revenge, and a rogue, undisciplined policeman. Her presence will constantly remind media of other Alaska scandals as well (ie Stevens, Young). And she has even less elective experience than even Bobby Jindal.

FIORINA -- A rare example of a CEO actually fired for poor performance, but got a huge, multi-million dollar golden parachute anyway. Management (as opposed to communication) skills called into question by her ex-subordinates. No political experience (which was displayed when she veered from McCain's talking points on contraception).

WHITMAN -- Who? The head of Ebay? That's the extent of her experience? A heartbeat away from the presidency? You're kidding, right? She'd make Barack Obama look like a seasoned, elder statesman filled with gravitas.

Who comes up with these lists anyway? Sheese!

President Mitt?

Lisa of OK, you are SOOOO off base as to be a JOKE. There is a long way and a LOT of events and choices to happen even for McCain to become our President let alone what you BS'd about.

First Romney has to be chosen. No mean feat, as Mccain is a smart man and will weigh up all choices especially to combat Obama's choice of VP.

Second then everybody has to make it to November 08. Some People beleive that all of Obama's faux pas & skeleton will catch up to him and the DNC will drop him in favor of Hillary who STILL hasn't quit her campaign, just suspended it.

Then McCain has to WIN in a Very tough battle whether v Obama or v Clinton.

Then you are postulating that McCain will get sick, pass away or be too feeble to continue his four term.

I'm thinking Lisa of OK that you are a LIBERAL Scare monger.
