Dude, Where’s My Recession? The Series

The Current Recession

What do you mean, "no recession?" Don't you know that the United States of America is in a deep and profound recession? Just remember, the definition of "recession" is "It's an election year and a Republican is President." That's been the case this year, in '04, and in '92, '88, and '84. Except for the brief golden age of Saint Bill, America has been in a constant recession since the evil Ronald Reagan stole the '80 election from the great and worshipful Jimmy Carter.

As for me, I'm voting McCain and four more years of Republican Recession.
