Dude, Where's My Recession?: The Series

Back to blog

Yeah...pretty ridiculous, thinking we entered a recession in December 2007, or something like that, isn't it?

Nouriel Roubini is delusional , he's been so wrong it's a joke

Bearish Ritholtz?

You think Barry Ritholtz is bearish? You've gotta be kidding me. If you wanna read some thoughtful bearish blogs you should checkout Mish's excellent globaleconomicanalysis, or nakedcapitalism, or CalculatedRisk or Nouriel Roubini's RGE Monitor

The people who are really schizoid are Larry Kudlow and his Panglossian minions like "Jimmy P". These folks have almost zero understanding of the Austrian Business Cycle theory so they have no mental model for what's happening right now.

Instead they continue with their chant: "buy buy buy", as they smirk and watch more investors get thrown under the bus.

My only hope is that they're all fully invested and are getting creamed right now

The dopes at bearish blogs such as Big Picture think we're in a depression ... their math is completely obfuscated by the rantings of a hallucinogenic point of view espoused bu the King of all Bearishness , Barry Ritholtz .

It's a good thing that his band of Tin Foil Hat weariing schizoids walk this earth , or what else could they do in their spare , drug-induced time
