Earthquakes Still Swarm Yellowstone Supervolcano Caldera

Using Yellowstone to fuel the Northern part of our country

I believe that Yellowstone, possibly years ago could have been one of the Energy achievements of man if we would have done this years ago.We should take the steam and the water that comes up through the geysers and put them in use for our country.Other country's heat their homes with Thermo Energy. Why can't we. The Oil companys have done enough damage to our environment. Hydrogen and Thermo Energy can be our future for this country if we would get some of the greedy politicans out of our government. There should be some way that we could divet the flow of magma and relieve some of the pressure under Yellowstone and avert a catastrophe which looks very close in the near future if we don't do something soon. Maybe its to late but at least we tried. Larry D. smith

Animals at yellowstone

What is the status of the animals? Once the animals have left the park, then we know something is coming fairly soon.

relevance

why are you, the editors, posting all of these offensive religious comments? No one knows where God and Jesus stand on the caldera. No one knows the eschatological significance of the supervolcano. Let's leave religious speculation off the board and stick to the scientific speculation/attempts at prediction.

Note to Chad in Texas

Hey Chad get a grip......somehow I dont think painters masks are going to do it for you. You would be better off getting some Xanax from your doctor or have a few drinks...if this would be as big as they say possible, you cant control the outcome with a trip to the hardware store.......RELAX.....I may panic over thunderstorms but I can control a broken sump pump!!!!! Wasted energy...and Im wondering if our collective concentration will add fuel to the fire so to speak..

Yellowstone earthquakes

The earthquakes/tremors are in a series about 13 to 16 hours apart, most centered over water. Has anyone checked the water elevation? If the earth cracks open and the water in the lake goes below the surface and heats up like a pressure cooker we could be in for a major explosion.

and if it blows?

If you still live, give away all your food, head to the hills (if we can move around here in CO) meditate and fast until the end. Don't contribute to desperate violence...and in the meantime? Live like there is no tomorrow, learn as if you will live forever....
