buisnesses with poor balance sheets pay a higher rate of interest for their loans. Having been in buisness in the 1980's one get worried at the following senareo. What happens when the debt equals 10 times the federal revenue and interst rates for poor quality rise to 10% ?

The GOP senators have successfully tossed this back to Bush---who is concerned about his legacy even if senators are not.

Both are playing with the trigger that could cause the "world" to lose faith in USA Treasury Bonds. If we cannot manage our auto industry, we shall be seen as a cooked goose nation.
