Obama: Reagan Was Right After All

What that kind of talk did

Actually, that's the kind of talk that got him elected. He's been pragmatic, evidence based, rational, and intelligent the whole time. Maybe you never noticed it before now.

Sinisism, doubt and despair

An attitude of negativity toward someone before they have even had their first day on the job. I think you must have been in the HR department doing my last couple of interviews. Could it be that this worrysomeperspective might NOT have been the best platform for the Republican party to run on? could it be that these perceptions of Right and Wrong in politics just might not be as contrasted as you may think. Maybe presidents are only different on the surface because they are all still presidents. I would caution many other commentors in bringing up and comparing dead presidents, when there are live presidents that should be answering for poor decisions today.

Equivolent?

The bottom line:

FDR's policies were disasters, extending and deepening the depression-while Reagan's bold moves represented a move in teh exact opposite direction. Reagan brought prosperity.

Obama has made it clear he does not knwo the difference.

What what he DOES, not what he SAYS

BO knows what to say in front of a camera so he sounds like a centrist. Forget all that. Just look at what he actually does. And he doesn't have to do much because he can always blame Congress if he can't get what he claims he wants to get done.

Crybabies???

We voted for a guy that had a long documented background on where he stood on the issues. You on the other hand, voted for a guy that told you what you wanted to heard and your side won. Congratulations.

If Obama moves to the center or center right, you will see more "crybabies" on the far left. They will eat their young if they don't get their way. Just remember where all the money came from.

I for one want the Republicans to let him have his way, the way a minority party should act. The people voted and they should get what they want. Let Obama have his appointees, judges, policies, and Executive orders. The Republicans should voice opposition but not obstruct, they should offer bold clear ideas as alternatives, but not obstruct.

I am confident that Democrats will implode after two or four years of un-restrained power. It might even be the beginning of the end of the party, now wouldn't that be sad.

Nothing Like A Biased Blurb

There just isn't anything that sums up the current political climate quite like a news blurb that takes a perfectly logical quote and turns it into an affirmation of one's own agenda. Thank you for the worthless article.

Silly Headline

"If the idea is right" does not mean Reagan was right after all. Maybe you should learn the meaning of conditional tense. What a bunch of crybabies hang out here!

You LOST!!!!! Get over it, children.

A matter of definitions

"if the idea is right" Of course, with Greg Craig as White House counsel that will all depend what the definition of "is" is....

Only to those with a very narrow mind.

If there are those that foolish enough to believe that only one party has ALL of the correct philosophies. Then it is save to say, that they prefer party affiliation over what is best for the UNITED STATES ! Please note we are called the UNITED STATES not the PARTY AFFILIATED STATES. Because Obama has the wisdom to see that for this great country to survive IDEAS that work are what is important. Not which political party came up with the idea you attempt to condemn him. Obama shows true wisdom in searching for what is good to heal AMERICA, no matter where the idea may of originated. Thinking like yours is what has hurt this country. Try stepping back and looking at the whole picture for a change and see what your type of misguided thinking has done to this country. Time for you like numerous others to recognize: That NOW is the time to CHANGE, via unity. Never were truer the words written. "UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL!" Learn from these words of wisdom and CHANGE or enjoy the very probable outcome, the FALL of the UNITED STATES!
