Is Reaganism Really Dead? And the Survey Says ...

By James Pethokoukis

Some quick data hits from pollster Scott Rasmussen in the WSJ today:

1) Voters think tax cuts are good for the economy by 55-19.

2) Obama beat McCain on the tax cut issue 33-11.

3) Voters think  "government is the problem" by 59-28

4) Voters by 43-26 think being compared to Ronald Reagan is a good think for a candidate.

Me: Yes, by all means, Republicans must move beyond Reaganomics. Clearly the Gipper has no resonance in the 21st century. Only FDR stands the test of time.

tax cuts

I am heartened to learn that most people still believe that tax cuts are good for the economy....DUH!!!! And O will probably steal more of our money because that is what Democratics do!!
