Obama and Coal: Send Americans 'Price Signals' on Energy

Back to blog

Now Is The Time

I see you all have not lost your fight :

GOOD! Because we have a lot to do. You! (the American people) are going to have to take back control of your elected government at every level, and set your government back on the right path of service to you, and the greater good of the World.

Barack Obama and the democrats are your best hope of doing that now. Tell your family, friends, and everyone you know to support them as best they can. Because the Bush McCain vote fraud, vote cheating, vote buying, vote manipulation machine is already hard at work to cheat you again. And we all know what a disaster that has been the past 8 years of Bush McCain.

Barack Obama and the democrats will need all the power you can give them at every level of government (Federal, State, County, and local City elected governments). Obama and the democrats will have an enormous mess to fix for the American people, and the rest of the World. A mess caused by the corrupt Bush McCain administration.

You see, starting back in 2000, and before 911, it was mostly the Republican governors, Republican legislatures, and county elected Republican officials that conspired with the corrupt Bush McCain administration to raise college, and university tuitions by the fastest, and highest rate increases in American history. Some state tuitions went up by as much as a WHOPPING! 30% in one year.

The reason the Bush McCain administration did this was to force struggling working class kids into the military to pay for the sudden jump in tuition. Which was forced on them by the corrupt Bush McCain administration, and their corrupt Republican Governors, and republican controlled state legislatures.

See, Bush McCain had plans to get us into all these immoral, foolish, criminal, and unnecessary wars from the start. So they could use these wars to seize power, and later to get reelected. But, for their evil plan to work they needed more volunteer soldiers struggling to pay for an education whose blood they could spill to help them seize more power. Remember Bush McCain's "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!" theatrics.

The exploitation, and lost lives of these finest Americans is despicable, disgusting, immoral, corrupt and criminal. And it makes me SICK, and ANGRY!

You will have to vote for Obama, and the democrats in overwhelming numbers to overcome the Bush McCain vote fraud machine. Vote early if you can. Then help your fellow Americans cast their votes on through election day. Vote for Obama, and the democrats like your life, and the lives of your loved ones depends on it. Because it does. You will not survive 4 more years of "Let Them Eat Cake" Bush McCain, and their republican allies.

Just look at the mess we have now.

You can fix this mess with your votes for Obama, and the democrats. But you must continue to surge forward for Barack Obama, and the democrats, and for your-selves most of all. The children, and the World are counting on us.

It's in your hands now. And I know you will get it done.

God bless all of you.

BHO would not pass a background security check

just want to add that with all his Marxist/former terrorist/pro-Islam friends, BHO would never pass a background security check if he were to apply for a govt. position that required one. food for thought:

1. 1968 Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male extremist.

2. In 1972 at the Munich Olymp ics, athletes were kidnapped and massacred

by Muslim male extremists.

3. In 1979, the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim male

extremists.

4. During the 1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon

by Muslim male extremists.

5. In 1983, the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim

male extremists.

6. In 1985 the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70 year old

American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair

by Muslim male extremists.

7. In 1985 TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens , and a US Navy diver

trying to rescue passengers was murdered by Muslim male extremists. (

remember the pilot of this flight was from Richmond , MO )

8. In 1988 , Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim male extremists.

9. In 1993 the& nbsp; World Trade Center was bombed the first time by

Muslim male extremists.

10. In 1998, the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by

Muslim male extremists.

11. On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles

to take down the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one

crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by

the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by Muslim male

extremists.

12. In 2002 the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against

Muslim male extremists.

13. In 2002 reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and murdered by-- you

guessed it-- Muslim male extremists.

No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you?

So,

to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particula rly fanatics intent

on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to

profile certain people... Absolutely No Profiling!

They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids,

airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members

of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal

hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave

Muslim Males alone lest they be guilty of profiling.

- According to The Book of Revelation:

The Anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who

will

deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE

Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power,

he will destroy everything.

And Now:

For the award winning Act of Stupidity Of a ll times the People of

America want to elect, to the most Powerful position on the face of the

Planet -- The Presidency of the United states of America .. A Male of

Muslim descent who is the most extremely liberal Senator in Congress (in

other words an extremist) and in his 40's.

Have the American People completely lost their Minds, or just their

Power of Reason ???

I'm sorry but I refuse to take a chance on the 'unknown'

candidate

Obama...

McCain would have had to defend his own statements

John McCain also supports Cap and Trade. Senator George Voinavich (Rep.)of Ohio said the McCain / Lieberman cap and trade bill would have devastated the coal industry and McCain's only response was that the shift away from Coal would be painful.

McCain and Obama have the same position on coal, McCain's attack is a cheap trick. He is only making it now and not in a debate because Obama will not have time to respond.

Cheap enery fuels this nation

Get ready for BHO's Marxist philosophy in action. His proposed policies will cripple an hurt the US which I think his what he ultimately wants to do. How does having policies that will increase the price of energy possible create (decent paying) jobs? Cheap energy fuels this nation and only nuclear and drilling will support that. No one is for not being pro-environmental but he's not even that. He clearly has showng that he does not want people of this country or the country as a whole, to prosper. His Hoover/Johnson/Carter polices will kill us. He's not about helping this country, he's about handing out checks to those that will never prosper under his leadership. (The policies of liberals to keep people from prospering is a whole 'nother subject. For them, it's about punishing hte rich as opposed to giving opportunities for all to prosper. What would happen to the democratic party if all of their power base were to prosper? These people would no longer be likely to vote Dem I would think)

Cosmo of CA @ Nov 03, 2008 16:24:26 PM

That Which is Not Seen

Frederic Bastiat wrote the essay 'That Which is Seen, and That Which is Not Seen' in 1848. Unfortunately the people voting for Obama have never read it.

Obama is going to kill jobs, drive the cost of energy higher, reduce the standard of living for everyone and balloon the size of government. Also be prepared to lose you civil liberties.

danno of MO @ Nov 03, 2008 16:20:48 PM

He thinks we are selfish

Obama has repeatedly shown his contempt for Americans - so who are these people voting for him? WAKE UP AMERICA!

I am a PUMA Democrat voting McCain/Palin!

LAMusing of CA @ Nov 03, 2008 15:59:53 PM

I'm all for Obama

And I'm with VY of CA...dramatic steps (like caps on traditional coal) *need* to be taken to help our planet over the long haul. And although, like most other people, I wish my already sky-high energy costs didn't have to rise, if we're ever going to make a dent in the epic problem, the fact is that something has to be done. And I applaud Obama for being up front about what, exactly, that might mean. Better that than hiding your real beliefs behind rhetoric as McCain continues to do! Obama/Biden '08!

PAvoter of PA @ Nov 03, 2008 15:49:42 PM

AGAIN...McCain has the SAME basic plan re: traditional coal!

Again, please read beyond the headlines, people! If you're so insulted and incensed about what you believe Obama might do re: coal, then you should really take a long, hard look at what McCain's cap-and-trade policies for emissions would do, too. They both plan to reward companies that will create clean energy and cap and penalize those that don't. Hence, there will be heftier energy prices to pay, regardless of who wins! The only difference is that Obama is being HONEST while McCain is hoping that a last-ditch effort to point fingers (that should point back in his direction, too) can win him a few remaining brownie points from voters who neglect to educate themselves about what he really plans to do. We are all just "sheep" if we refuse to educate ourselves and see the whole picture!

PAvoter of PA @ Nov 03, 2008 15:21:36 PM

re: McCain supports essentially the same cap-and-trade policies as Obama!!!!

They are not identical, but McCain's isn't much better. HOWEVER, the difference is that Obama will have the means to carry out his goal, but McCain will not because there will be more Democrats in the house that will override his proposals and he will veto theirs. So if we elect McCain, pretty much nothing will get done and that apparently is the best thing to do until we voters can get REAL CHANGE--- by electing people who are endorsed by Ron Paul ;-)

Mike of OH @ Nov 03, 2008 15:14:51 PM

I like socialism as long as I get to be the one in charge ;-)

What he is proposing is the same thing we've been doing that has the middle class in trouble. I don't believe for a second that he cares about the middle class, as it doesn't appear to me that any of his proposals will help at all, but only make things worse. I for one believe that him, and those like him ('liberals' aka socialists) want to wipe out the middle class so they can continue to promote their idea of their perfect society (one in which they have all the wealth and tell everyone else, who are poor, how to live their lives). They believe they can win if they have enough desperate people voting for them; people that they drove into poverty in the first place. You can bet that if this guy gets elected there will be even more job loss, even more inflation, and even more poverty. And to those of you who vote for this guy, that I meet on the street in two years from now, I will be sure to pat you on the back for it.
