Palin Debate Wrap: Sarah America Is Back

Palin debate

She is dumber than a fence post. Apparently so is the rest of the Republican Party. They must think all of this trouble and turmoil hitting this country and world is a big joke. Well, for the rest of the universe it isn't. Anybody with half a brain better start figuring out that McCain and McLame are only going to make it worse. The Republican Party is all about winning and in the long run if they win, we will be all about losing, as in everything.

it is simple sarah palin is the false prophet in this world that we live in today sadly has gone to women in the extreme fromv gay marriages to abortion rights laws to not being treated as a woman but as a man at the office and now everything is aimed at women ads tv radio fashion music movies if sex and the city and desperate housewives tells you nothing then just maybe the next time you females see a new commercial for a female product like stayfree for example just think of palin at the time because she bleeds just as you do now is that an undertstanding or what

Palin makes W look seasoned and intelligent. One 72-year old heartbeat away from the leader of the free world? COME ON PEOPLE! Put your party affliation aside and your American lust for popular, meaningless appeal (see Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears, etc) aside and put your COUNTRY FIRST! Vote, even if reluctantly as I am, for Obama-Biden on election day!

No Sarah

GM’s comments are valid … major companies spend millions on a campaign, and probably spent thousands to orchestrate this contest. However, if “the people” fall for it and happily join in, that’s their prerogative. Looking at the big picture, however, the novelty of such gimmicks will fade at some point (as well as the actual winning slogan), and marketing will leap to the next big thing.

You can't be serious.

I have yet to meet a woman, even in the really red state of GA who actually can stand this woman. She's patronizing, mean, lies her ass off and is in WAY over her head. Men like her,but guys,a vote for her won't get you in her panties. Caribou Barbie has just made it that much harder for a woman to be taken seriously in politics, way to go.

I also agree with the comment about baby Trig, let the kid sleep after 9 pm for heaven's sake. And why aren't Willow and Piper in school? It's also not normal for a Down Syndrome infant to be so calm and devoid of any expression,I've yet to see him smile, kick his feet or move much at all. Something else is up with that little one.

Palin ..... has to be considered the far-and-away front-runner for the 2012 Republican nomination if McCain loses.

What a horrible thought.

la whit of TX @ Oct 05, 2008 17:06:33 PM

You can't hide the fact ...

... That Sarah Palin is an idiot.

She has no experience.

She has no discernible method of critical thought.

She can not answer a question. The best she can do is parrot tired old Bushims.

Her religious beliefs are rooted in superstition and apocalyptic nightmares.

Her spending record as mayor of Wasilla is abysmal.

Her knowledge of foreign countries/leaders/affairs is laughable.

She is an empty-headed twit.

The only thing she has going for her is her breasts. Men who like breasts who can not think past looking at breasts may vote for her. Women who look at her and think, 'She has breasts. I have breasts. I will vote for her' may vote for her.

But the rest of the country - and the world - is not fooled. She is an idiot.

Gov. Palin will be VP Palin

Slanted jourlalism tried to mock Gov. Palin

Just google

"NATO+ALASKA+RUSSIAN+BOMBERS" and you will understand that Couric and many mockers are simply "ignorant" or "biased".

The VP debate shows that Gov. Palin is excellent VP candidate because her deinition of the VP job is 100% correct.

Biden was wrong on the definition of VP job not being part of the legistrative branch. He quoted Artcle 1 of the Constition which defined the legistrative branch (not executive branch as he said) and made the VP the "President of the Senate". Biden thinks the VP is just an advisor to President - no wonder he said before that he never wants to be the VP.

Obama policy is simply surrender and tax increase (loss of jobs). His healthcare plan will is better for only the "welfare parasites". 30% of Americans already do not pay income tax. So his is like "African VOODOO economics".

Gov. Palin has definite extra roles as VP apart from being President of the senate. Biden has none.

McCain-Palin is the better ticket

A bit of a stretch

While I think Sarah Palin held her own in the debate, you are right that she spoke (like McCain) in generalities. This is not good when being asked to specifically describe the McCain-Palin agenda while in the White House. I think that you are very wrong to say that she is a contender for a Presidential candidate in 2012. She is not experienced enough to run as a Presidential candidate. She requires more Republican party grooming, not for party platform but instead for capability to interact with the mainstream (and yes, very liberal television media) and to choose her words more carefully yet with less rehearsal. I do not think she is stupid. Quite the contrary, this woman is the governor of Alaska. It is not an easy job. I just think that she is still a little awe-struck. I think that most nay-sayers to make comments on this blog will be Obama supporters. All Obama supporters need to realize that she is as experienced as he is. However, the KEY difference is that he is a good communicator, not just with the liberal media but he can hold is own with the conservative radio crowd and he is a reasonable (not staller) interviewer and an excellent orator. I'm still voting for McCain because I have not heard anything from Obama that is more than a Democratic platform campaign promise. I was just hoping for a little more from John McCain, not in VP selection but in substance to specific policy besides what can be found on his website.

insulting

if Palin had winked and aw-shucked her way through a debate against hillary clinton, imagine what we'd be saying. her vapid answers and hillbilly speak would have been enormously out of place.

also, if she were a man, she could never get away with acting like a bimbo in a debate on this level.

let's stop giving palin way too much credit for simply surviving the debate.
