Does $150,000 Make You Rich?

What...

You're actually reporting this as fact... great journalism. What happened to fact checking? Interesting how the GOP can grab stuff out of thin air and it becomes fact instantly, but I guess that's what happens when you have a islam-o-muslim-terrorist-socialist-kenyan-born-commi running for president of the US eh?

Jimmy Durante and me

He had a childlike optimistic take on life. Me too.

And when confronted with harsh reality, as all of us often are, his phrase "what a revoltin' develpment that is" summed it up pretty well.

I always thought I was "middle class" and really fortunate to be able to always make it somehow after all as in the Mary Tyler Moore theme.

Then, along came all these "given" facts by the politicians that describe "middle class" and "rich" and "average" as figures that formerly--and still do--exist only in my imagination.

$60,000 a year, $150,000 a year, $250,000--hey, is that in a lifetime?

Now I finally learn that I've been only existing at and often below what is now officially described as the poverty level--except without the benefits thereof.

Who knew?

Obama lies

If Obama wins, he won't be the first liberal who lied to get into the White House. While you want a slick talking attoreny representing you in court, you don't want one in the White House. Too bad people have voted early and can't change their vote when they find out he lied to them. There is no doubt he lied about the firearms issue. You can't shove socialism and other failed economic systems and ideology down people's throats if they have guns.

Government* at no cost to you! Free, free!

How do you think government is financed if not by the people? It ain't free, you'll pay somehow. Too bad the candidates are too wimpy to tell you the cold hard truth. I guess you wouldn't believe it anyhow.

Of Course Obama's Singing a New Song

With early voting some people are already locked into their "vote for change". The downside risks to Obama for making these types of policy changes late in the game are shrinking by the day. In the end he'll probably say something along the lines of, "I made it clear before the election that my plan was really to raise taxes on any family making more than $150K." I guess he'll ignore the push he made for early voting and voters will ignore the obvious reasons for making it.
