Iowa Caucus: Betting Markets Predict Obama, Huckabee

As of midmorning, the Real Clear Predicts Market, an online betting market, gives Mike Huckabee a 64 percent chance of winning Iowa vs. 38 percent for Mitt Romney. On the Democratic side, it's Barack Obama at 62 percent, Hillary Clinton at 35 percent, and John Edwards at 20 percent. Also of note, the current odds on who will win the GOP nomination are John McCain at 27 percent, Rudy Giuliani at 25 percent, and Romney at 24 percent. This is the first time I have seen McCain in the lead since spring of last year.

experience electability

obama should make a point out of making up for the experience factor by explaining that he will surround himself wit a very intellectual professional cabinette , perhaps even a shared dem-rep one.

Huckabee not Buchanan

The difference between Huckabee and Buchanan this time around in an early primary is that Huckabee hasn't quite had the pro-zionist jewish papers attack Huckabee yet as they did as againt Buchanan when they created a make believe slander campaign against Buchanan's true record. Of course, Huckabee may see the same slander campaign soon enough by the liberal media establishment as being an "anti-Israel" hater when the time comes, however, it will be difficult to make it stick on Huckabee since most Baptist are pro-Israel.
