Palin in Alaska

Did I just see Mrs. Palin get off of a plane, kiss her baby and walk off to wave to a crowd? What kind of person/mother would not have picked up her own four month old infant when she arrived home?

Sarah Palin

The possibility of this woman becoming VP thrills me to death! Finally I am excited about the election! She pulls no punches, and makes no apologies...and doesn't need to! She's an absolute breath of fresh air that Washington has needed for a long time! I hope McCain/Palin team wins by a landslide! That will show those tax and spend liberals trying to take over our pocketbooks that America just isn't ready for their agenda!

Sarah Palin, V.P.

What a choice. The Chicago machine candidate and a plgarist who never met a payroll, and ate out of the taxpayers trough for 35 years, and no military time. Well, you welfare seekers, You have reason to be nervous.Go John/ Sarah

Gov Palin

I am a 60 year old independant party male.

Gov Palin is the real deal and the ESTABLISHMENT is

scared to death of REAL CHANGE from her. She is their

Pit Bull. My mother is 90 years old of sound mind

and she says she has never seen anything like what

we are faced with today.

Don't think of Gov Palin as the next VP> Think of her

as the eventual First Woman President.

WHAT ARE PEOPLE SCARED OF FROM THIS WOMAN BUT THE TRUTH.

UNLESS THEY KNOW SHE WILL BE THE NEXT VP AND ARE CONVINCED OF

IT, OTHERWISE THERE WOULD BE NO FUSS. JOE BIDEN DOESN'T HAVE

ALL OF THIS FUSS. HE IS ONE OF THE GOOD OLE BOYS. WHY IS SHE

GETTING ALL OF THE ATTENTION WHEN OLE BIDEN IS BEING OMITTED.

THIS WOMAN IS GOING TO CHANGE THE WORLD WE LIVE IN FOR THE

BETTER. drs

It's The Averages, Stupid!

This campaign is the most average ever.

Remember, an average is just the center of the extremes.

Like, you know? If you are standing with one foot in a bucket of ice water and the other in a bucket of hot coals--on average you are perfectly comfortable.

On the Dem side we have a young inexperienced candidate for president with an old over experienced candidate for VP balancing the ticket perfectly--on average!

Conversely, on the GOP side we have an old over experienced candidate for president with a young inexperienced candidate for VP balancing the ticket perfectly--on average!

So, the average American voter has a choice between the perfect average on the one hand and the perfect average on the other hand.

This campaign is the most average ever.

Wish Life Was This Easy

"Experience or not; trying to woo H. Clinton voters or not (which seems like they would want more moderate choice); it seems as if McCain spent little time with Palin. I don’t know if this is “normal,” but if the average person were to choose their VP perhaps they would want to spend a bit more time to see if they really want this person on their team? I mean, to get hired these days it takes (or so it seems) at least three interviews, perhaps a job skill test, a background check, etc.

mccains folly

I really was unsure of who to vote for in November, but Mccains choice sold me on Obama. Are you kidding me? A 2 year Governor from Alaska, give us a break<John. What were you thinking? I can just see it now. Russia decides to attack Poland and Sarah with her vast knowledge of world affairs goes into action in her dogsled. With her vast experience in the fishing business she sends them 5 dozen salmon and some moose meat.. that will stop them.

Great decision!

Many of you on the left are making me laugh with you lack-of-experience attack. The presidency (and vice-presidency) are executive jobs. They require LEADERHIP. Please tell me what EXECUTIVE experience that either Obama or Biden have. The fact is, Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Obama and Biden combined.

Courage of their convictions

Senator McCain said he would choose a running mate who shared his values. In choosing Sarah Palin, he has done just that in one of his values that I value the most. He chose someone who has the courage of her convictions. Both McCain and Palin have been willing to risk the anger of their party in order to vote according to what they thought was right.

Because it has been a long time since my own beliefs have neatly split along the lines of the two party platforms, I appreciate the fact that these two have risked their jobs and relationship with their party to follow the dictates of their consciences.

Even though I do not agree with them on everything, this lack of pandering just to win votes wins my vote.
