GOP Source: Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, Madam Vice President

Palin Comparison

How does she compare to Biden? I bet she writes her own speeches instead of stealing them and changing one's life story to fit the lifted bio recounted in the stolen speech. That's what Biden did. When caught he said 'so what'.

This is the change we've been waiting for?

Palin does not know much, that is true. But she has more executive experience than Barack.

great pick

I've always said any housewife could balance the federal budget and I may finally be proved right. Sure, she is young and lacks foreign policy experience-but so does Obama! Arguably no one has enough experience to be president. What is more important is good judgment. From what I've seen she is bright, articulate, ethical, pragmatic and a pro-business capitalist! She represents true change. She has found a way to balance a career and large family-no small feat. That said I hope to see McCain retire after four years. If Sarah Palin earns our trust and respect in the that time I will be happy to vote for her for president.

VP Choice

You have got to be kidding me. Did McCain have to pick someone with even less experience than Obama? What was he thinking. I was leaning towards voting for McCain as the lesser of two evils, but now...I may not vote as all. McCain's choice of his VP was much more important to his campaign, than Obama's choice was. Sen. McCain, I think you blew it.

Sarah Palin: GOP VP Choice

THERE IS NO WAY SHE COULD FAIL TO BE MORE APPEALING THAN SEN JOE BIDEN WITH HIS 35 YEARS AS A WASHINGTON SENATE INSIDER. WHILE DEMOCRATS SPEAK OF REFORM AND CHANGE, THE PARTY NOMINATES TWO MEN WHO OWE THEIR EXISTENCE TO THE STATUS QUO AND POLITICS AS USUAL. IN THE SAME WAY, DEMOCRATS ASSERT THEIR ENTITLEMENT TO THE VOTES OF WOMEN AND NOMINATE TWO TYPICAL "BELTWAY BOYS" TO PROVE IT. SARAH PALIN WILL BE A WELCOME ADDITION TO THIS ELECTION CYCLE.

Sarah Palin as VP

I'm totally surprised as well as pleased that John Mcain has selected Govenor Palin as his running mate.

This combination of leadership is exactly what America needs. Cancel fear! Cancel unreal expectations! Cancel confusion! Replace that with these real down to earth Americans, John Mcain and Sarah Palin, whos' track records show they take responsibility to get er done with balanced justice and mercy. Now, our forefathers are smiling!

Obama is prejudice!!!

Can anyone not see this?? I hope all that vote for this man suffer the wrath of his black power wife and mother in law. And let's not forget Oprah!!!

Oh and some other issues . . .where is the experience? My grandparents know more about this country than Obama!!!

I am a liberal all the way but for this years election I think I have totally changed my mind. I will not vote for a president whose name is so closely related to the man who terrorized our country!! NO WAY!

People need to open their eyes and see McCain is not a stupid man and he is not Bush. (By the way I did not and would have never voted Bush). Take another look and open your minds.

Way to go

There may be hope yet. It is about time! I almost wasn't going to vote, you have it now!

Thank you John McCain

Silly ploy

Just a silly ploy to pull the female base of Hillary backers who refuse to support Obama. Won't work though. I can't believe the Republican party would stoop so low. Well, actually I can, but who would have ever thought in this manner. While continually citing experience as one of Obama's largest deficiancies, how dare they tab an even lesser experienced candidate for VP? Also, this ploy gives the Repulican party a shot in the arm as far as matching the Democratic party's "History Making" presidential campaign with potentially, the 1st African-American, with a little "History Making" of thier own, with the 1st female VP.
