Media to America: Disaster Seen as Catastrophe Looms

Bye Bye Old Media

and the Dinosaur Media wonders why people have dropped them like a cold turd.

We canceled our newspaper and cut TV altogether. Good riddance to bad trash.

You didn't cover the polar bear myth. I'd guess the writer was thinking of that picture of a polar bear and her cub "trapped" on a melting piece of ice from a few years ago when he said, "polar bears adrift". Got the econuts all stirred up and crying for the poor polar bears to be protected.

Later it came out that the picture was taken in August, the bears were less than a mile from shore, and polar bears routinely swim 100 miles and use ice floes like this one to drift to new hunting grounds on. Furthermore the polar bear population has doubled over the past 40 years so they're hardly an endangered species.

One more note: polar bears are anything but cute and cuddly. They're the only major predator that actively stalks and kills humans. If you run across a hungry polar bear on the ice you'd been have a high-powered rifle because otherwise as it runs twice as fast as you can it WILL kill and WILL EAT you.

The Environment is being Ravaged

Oh and dont forget that we are absolutely desolating the environment! Never mind that global temperature change is small and within the range of natural variation. Never mind that there are now more trees in eastern US than when the white man arrived. Never mind that our work over the past 30 years has made the air and water much cleaner than they used to be. No, never admit progress or context!

negative news

What's the saying? "If it doesn't bleed, it doesn't lead." That's the US media in a nutshell!!

Who, What, Where, Why, When

The words that at one time were the foundation upon which journalist based their reports. Today it is what twist, distort or lie can be created out of the known facts that will in some manner cause the American voter to forgo the strengths of this nation and GIVE the presidential and congressional elections to the party of the braying JACKASS.

If the economy is good, ignore it.

If the economy has a sniffle, distort it to the point of panic among the voters.

If the military is involved, look for the most vile, yet unsubstantiated allegation and harp on it as if there can be no question. When proven false, smear those providing this information.

If it involves Republicans or Conservatives or Christians, there is NO room for praise. if there is a negative, spend months and millions to ensure the voter never forgets.

If it involves demagogues or other liberals, find their faults and then search for ways and means to cover them. Never allow the public to see the truth. When challenged, use the race card, the feminist card or any other means of smearing those opening th windows of honest reporting.
