wind turbines/battery system

This is Mark Yinger again - my concept on the turbines is that

they would be aerodynamically designed to reduce drag, and

be made of extreme light heavy weight material - alloy

the alloy business could use a lift right now also.

If we accept what is and do not think what may be, we will be

doomed to be consumers only.

A wind turbine on a moving vehicle would create the same amount of drag as you would gain in energy from it.....duh

Wind turbine/elect. vehicles

i've had this concept to MERGE 2 energy efficient systems already in USE---

I work for a golf course where there are 60 elect, golf carts that are able to

go 36-72 holes a day - with 2 passengers/clubs and other gear loading them down ---- ( 8 batteries in tandem )

NOW --- take it one step further and have fans ( like wind turbines) mounted

that would capture wind velocity as the vehicle goes in motion --- thus RECHARGING any vehicle on the GO - or while the battery system is used to

get it going --- the wind turbines ( small/heavy duty ) would be RECHARGING the

battery system --- I am not an engineer/ but an artist/musician/visionary -

I have discussed this with mechanics/engineers and tried to get FORD and GM

to respond ------ no go ---- I believe there is a monopoly to suck every penny

until there is a revolution/ or another depression --- greed continues because

power corrupts - ( enough about social/political/economic issues)

I have not seen or heard of this possibly being a solution -- but I know it could

work until a bettery battery only system comes available

I love this country and am afraid we will loose it to greed and indecision - HELP!

Free Market

Anyone or company who would invent such a battery or technology in a free market would make much more then what Mr. McCain wants the government to give. Apparently, He does not understand a free market capitalist system.

Did the government give Bill Gates a reward for windows? Or Intel or other chip makers for shrinking their circuits? Henry Ford for pioneering the car industry Etc. Etc.

The Free Market rewarded these people and companies more then the Government ever could.

Get rid of "hired to invent," like Japan and Germany, and provide patent incentives for inventors. I can't figure out why technological innovation such as hybrid cars comes from Japan nowadays. It's a real mystery.
