Should Ron Paul Voters, Libertarians Choose McCain?

Back to blog

Why vote for Barr?A third party candidate has never and will never be elected President of the United States. Don't waste your vote! Vote Ron Paul! If all the rp supporters and libertarians would vote for Paul, he might just win! Even though the electoral process of this country is corrupt, the sheer numbers of votes for Ron Paul could change everything. Please cast your vote for Ron Paul. He's the only one that can save our country.

McCain and Obama

are far closer, policy-wise, than McCain and the libertarian Barr. Barr's conversion to limited-government principles has unfolded over several years, while McCain's discovery of some market economics and a few limited-government notions appears to be, primarily, a coincidental election-year sop to the more easily fooled among the GOP base. The Democrats, no doubt, are the Party of Big Government; however, the establishment GOP, puppet of the "Weekly Standard"/Kristol crowd, has proven itself hostile to limited government ideas. The only way to teach the GOP a lesson is to take the long view, tolerate an Obama administration for four years, and withhold votes and contributions to the GOP for a while.

Your Incredibly Stupid Article

DONALD AND JAMES,

LET ME MAKE THINGS REALLY CLEAR.....THE VAST MAJORITY OF RON PAUL SUPPORTERS WILL NOT SUPPORT MCCAIN, IN HOPES OF DESTROYING THE NEOCON AGENDA THAT IS POLLUTING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. ARE WE A POLITICAL THREAT? YES, DONALD AND JAMES, WE ARE AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO BACK DOWN, GIVE UP, OR GO HOME. YOUR ARTICLE IS A WEAK SMARMY LITTLE MACHINATION TO ATTEMPT TO SHOW US THAT RON PAUL SUPPORTERS SHOULD JUST GIVE UP AND EMBRACE MCCAIN. AS THEY WOULD SOONER EMBRACE THE ANTICHRIST, YOU TWO CAN BITE THE BIG ONE AND JUMP OFF THE NEXT CLIFF TOGETHER! GO RON PAUL!!!!

McCain? Never!

Once you go Ron, you never go John. John McCain's support for bigger government is no different that the Democrats, they only difference is in what part of the government they want to expand. I will not be voting for any canidate that wants to use our inept and incompetent federal government to solve our, or the world's, problems.

Tired of voting for the lesser of two evils

McCain supports most of Bush's failed policies. Based upon both his and Obama's voting records they don't believe in following the Constitution. Seems pretty important to me that representatives of the Federal government follow the rulebook.

For what its worth, Dr. Paul said Obama had the best foreign policy approach but I don't agree with a nanny-state and increased government.

I'll be voting my principles. The "Change" I can believe in starts with bringing all of our troops home and reducing the size and spending of the Federal Government.

Luskin

is an idiot. He really is. Wasting my input is voting for a SOB who's going to further destroy our Constitution i.e. Obama or McCain. No, unlike the general public I'm going to use my balls and vote for a third party and thus vote for a more qualified candidate who will truly preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution.

A true Ron Paul supporter would never vote for McCain.

He does not support the constitution.
