Is Obama Really a Marxist? Puh-Lease

'Wealth Re-Distribution"

Obama really did not help his cause by uttering those two ever-so-easily exploitable little words.

But truth be told, wealth is re-distributed every day in the US. That's what taxation is. Are we to believe that McCain is against TAXES?

Nope... Just any sort of redistribution that doesn't benefit his rich friends.

According to the GOP, If you "redistribute" by exclusion (tax the middle class, yet give a break to the rich & industry) you supposedly energize the economy as the windfall is sure to "trickle down" in the form of jobs and benefits.

But cutting a break for the middle class a break is MARXIST?

The trickle down philosophy is flawed because industry is only true to itself. PROFIT is the factor, and most $$$ that goes to the top, stays @ the top.

If you REALLY want to see a re-energized economy, give the breaks to those most likely to spend their $$$... The MIDDLE CLASS.

"Marxist" is an easy label, but then again, the GOP intends to win this election by frightening the vote out of people, not by inspiring, or by talking about the issues.

Fear is an effective motivator, especially in the age of Weapons of Mass Destruction and coded alert statuses. Bush, Cheney and their cronies hijacked the US for the past 8 by exploiting fear.

We (AMERICA) are sick and tired of it.

We are done.

Enjoy irony? Read Carmelo's post...

and after reading the post, think to yourself, did any of these items exist on past politician/presidents' agendas?

Yes.

Redistribution of wealth? If progressive taxation is considered redistribution of wealth, then you'll also have to go after Reagan, Nixon (easy enough) and, gasp, IKE EISENHOWER! SUPREME ALLIED COMMANDER DURING WWII? A SOCIALIST? SAY IT AIN'T SO! But its true.

Growing the size of government? Not one modern president to date has managed to notably shrink the size of government. You think its been getting smaller during the past seven years?

Blame greedy corporations for the ails of the US and the world? News flash, BOTH candidates, as well as ALL of the third party candidates blame greedy corporations, along with practically every normal person in America.

Nationalizing healthcare? News flash, its already nationalized. Its called Medicare/Medicaid, and its a band-aid on a bullet wound. We either come up with a way to better handle coverage, or we pay several times as much paying for repeated emergency room visits on the back-end.

And note, it has NEVER been "America's principle of helping the world rid itself of dictatorships." What are you thinking? If that were the case, we'd be in Darfur by now! We're not the world's police! And THAT is why countries resent us moreso than they did before invading Iraq!

Seriously. You're hilarious.

Obama is a Marxist with Islamic ties

You are right, Carmelo. Obama is a Marxist. Obama’s parents and mentors were Marxists. Obama’s friends and relatives are Marxists. Obama acts like a Marxist. Obama speaks like a Marxist. Obama lies and manipulates like a Marxist. Obama’s false Christianity (based on Black Liberation Theology) is Marxist. How can anyone believe that Obama is not a Marxist?

Marxism multiplies poverty and corruption. Just look at Cuba. By “redistributing the wealth,” the Castro brothers transformed an imperfect but prosperous and happy island into a GULAG of dire poverty, misery and corruption, where the only hope for many is escaping to a free country.

Additionally, Obama’s campaign strategies, promises and slogans (CHANGE and YES WE CAN, etc.) are almost identical to those of other Marxists (Odinga of Kenya, Chávez of Venezuela, Morales of Bolivia, and Correa of Ecuador).

It seems many Americans are just as clueless as the most ignorant Venezuelans, Bolivians and Ecuadorians who believed in CHANGE and YES WE CAN. Now they see that CHANGE means change toward Marxism and greater poverty and corruption. And YES WE CAN means Marxists CAN fool people.

Venezuelans, Bolivians and Ecuadorians already found out that CHANGE means fewer and fewer rights and more poverty for the people, as well as much greater corruption under “socialismo del siglo XXI” (Marxism). They have also found out that YES WE CAN means Marxists like Ayers, Obama, Odinga, Castro and Chávez CAN fool people.

And Obama has Islamic ties. Don't forget that there's PROOF that Obama used his elected office—and taxpayers’ dollars—to support Kenya’s Odinga, “Your Agent for Change,” a violent Marxist thug who made a pact with the Muslims to institute Sharia (Islamic law). Odinga’s followers killed some 1500 people and burned 800 Christian churches, including one with 50 people, many of them children inside.

Short walk to verify NObama IS marxist...

James P. are you one of the propaganda writers for the Democratic party? NObama spent 8 years in Hawaii under the instruction of Frank Davis who is a well known marxist with ties to the old USSR. NOBAMA TALKS ABOUT IT IN HIS BOOK!!! He is good friends with Bill Ayers who is another well known marxist.

Stop writing propoganda and try reporting some facts, instead of shallow empty spin that is so thin you could read a book through it. Thanks to the dumbing down of America NObama may get elected, which will result in a revolution lead by those of us who refuse to live in despotism and tyranny.

I will NOT go quitely into that dark night of human misery called marxism.

Lock and load...

"Obama has chosen to pursue government solutions rather than market solutions to problems such as possible climate change, healthcare, Social Security solvency, income inequality, the trade deficit, and education."

So-Obama thinks we are so stupid we could never be able to provide ourselves with these things and that A BIG government should provide healthcare, your 401k, etc.

The thing that scares me is "income equality" what does that mean? Does that mean a doctor should make the same amount of money as a bus boy?

shannon of FL @ Oct 26, 2008 18:15:29 PM

Definately.

He is definitely a Marxist and not even very sly about it. What shocks me is how many people just don't care. They get all the facts and they just don't care. We are in a world of hurt if he is elected. I still hope smart people will prevail. This man couldn't answer a question truthfully if he was paid too.

re: Totalitarism via Taxation and Debt

There are many with you, brother.

The real question is what to do about it?

As you mention, the political solution to slowing this revolution against the Constitution is all but closed. Anyone who wishes to run for office and try to bring new ideas and new energy to the process is told to write a check that few can afford to write who are not already entrenched in perpetuating the status quo, which in this case is the erosion of Constiturional Governance into what is essentially a Socialist Feudalism. Anyone able to get past this stage is torn apart as we are seeing with Joe "the plumber" or cast as a lunatic as we have seen with Ron Paul.

Further, as more and more immigrants are brought in to the Country and more welfare babies are born and more people are indoctrinated by our failing public schools, the opportunity for real intellectual discussion based on economic, moral and philosophical principles declines. There is an entire (so called) "middle class" that Obama is speaking to that is being asked simply to vote based on their own immediate economic self interest. Obama and many others point this out specifically. The number of people in this Country who can now benefit from the most simple economic manipulation of taking from the rich to give to the poor has now neared the tipping point. We have gotten to the point that the poor can simply enrich themselves by voting to take money out of the pockets of the wealthy.

That this monetary change of hands is nothing more than theft in the guise of "Democracy" appears troubling to far too few to make any real difference. That, upon being robbed for long enough, the producers will either simply find a way to remove their wealth from the grasp of the theives or stop producing altogether also appears to have so far escaped the notice of at least a plurality.

The statement and the question remains: there are many who are troubled by current events and we all feel powerless, what are we to do?

Obama and Marxism

Obama's LIFE LONG Marxist Influences

http://noquarterusa.net:80/blog/2008/09/23/the-trojan-candidate/

Barrack Obama hid his Fathers Marxism.

http://gregransom.com/prestopundit/2008/04/gregs-guide-to-barack-obamas-d.html

Since most of us already know or at least Suspect Bill Ayers isn't just a Guy down the block who sitting across the kitchen table convinced Obama to run for office lets pay attention to WHO BROUGHT OBAMA to Ayers Kitchen table?

Alice Palmer...who was Alice??? Well she was a state senator who repackaged herself a Liberal after quite a bit of Involvement with the Communists...

Ten years before the aforementioned meeting with Palmer,Ayers and Obama, Alice Palmer was an official of a notorious Communist front group (so identified by the FBI), the U.S. Peace Council, an affiliate of the World Peace Council, an international Soviet front. It goes without saying that during that era of the eighties, both of these mouthpieces for Moscow were working feverishly to undermine President Reagan's arms buildup which played a major role in the downfall of the Soviet Union. That was the time of the worldwide Soviet-inspired nuclear "freeze" movement in 1983, when Palmer was also mentioned as a participant on the World Peace Council's Prague assembly. I think we all know of Obama's desire to disarm the USA of all nuclear weapons and prevent the development of future military systems...

http://macsmind.com/wordpress/2008/02/27/obama-plans-to-disarm-america/

http://www.brookesnews.com/080206obamadefense.html

"While working as editor of the Black Press Review in 1986, Alice Palmer traveled to the Soviet Union to report on the 27th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. According to the official newspaper of the Communist Party USA, she had nothing but praise for what she saw......"'The Soviets are carrying out a policy to resolve inequalities between nationalities, inequalities that they say were inherited from capitalist and czarist rule,' Palmer told the paper. 'They have a comprehensive affirmative action program, which they have stuck to religiously since 1917."

It was Alice Palmer who brought Barrack Obama to meet their Mutual Friends Ayers and Dorhn and ask they support his election Bid as they had Her's in the Past.

Still not convinced?

When Vermont Congressman,self-described socialist Bernie Sanders, decided he'd run for Senate. Obama came to Vermont to endorse him. Obama could have endorsed the logical candidate the slated Democratic candidate, but he choose socialist Bernie Sanders.

Here's some of the quotes from the endorsement:Obama calls Bernie Sanders an "outstanding candidate",Obama says "things can change",Obama said "I want to make sure everybody is as enthusiastic as I am" concerning Bernie Sanders and "only a handful of wrong headed people don't like him."

Make no mistake although repackaging the image to avoid the Socialist stigma ,Sanders refers to himself as a "Democratic Socialist"
