Is Obama Really a Marxist? Puh-Lease

Marxists are not scholars of constitutional law.

This is how the educational system works: After an undergraduate degree, a student focuses on field about which he is passionate. Some of the yahoos out there who love to call Barack Obama a Marxist ought to explain this.

1. The only "redistribution" of our national wealth going on right now is into the pockets of those on Wall Street.

2. Obama has said nothing about "growing" government to date.

3. Greedy corporations are not the main reason for our bad reputation in the world. Our brain dead military policy is.

4. Nationalize healthcare? Do your homework! Even better, look on a world map to see the countries who do have it. European countries do, African countries do not. Figure it out.

5. Again, do your homework. The richest Americans are able to finagle their way out of paying taxes. Indeed, "only the little people pay taxes." About this, Leona Helmsley was right.

6. Do even more homework, dum dum. The highly educated voted for Obama in record numbers.

7. The US has a bad reputation in the world right now, and not because Obama said so. Rather, it's because of Bush's failed international policies.

8. The concept of retreating "in shame" applies to Viet Nam, not Iraq.

9. Obama "legitimizes" no dictatorship or terrorists. Name one.

10. Gee, isn't McCain the one who is soft on immigrants?

11. You feel good about our 3 percent of the world using 25 percent of the world's energy? Then you never learned the things you were supposed to learn in kindergarten.

12. Change, indeed, does sound good. Few cars were sold last month than in the past FIFTY YEARS. That's for starters. We do need change. And YOU need an education.

So is the point that all Democrats are Marxists?

I would agree that they are to some varying degree.

The list of Marxist plans can now be updated with:

1) Convert 401K plans to Government Securities managed by Social Security: The Dems have to find a way to slime out of the failing Social Security Plan for the future generation and this is it. So, do not dismiss this idea as crazy because it is the only way social security survives. By 2060 when the 40 year deficit (between social security inflow FICA and outflows) reaches a total of 40 trillion dollars which adds roughly 1 trillion per year to the budget starting in 2020 unless FICA caps are removed, taxes skyrocket and the retirement age pushed higher, (These will go over well)

2) Start a corp for homeland security just as well funded and strong as the military? HUH, Can you say Obama's SS. Maybe he needs to learn about the National Guard primarily controlled by the States.

3) Start a corp of youth to engage in mandated volunteering. Sounds innoncent enough and then it evolves into Obamas's Youth.

4) Fairness doctrine: Silence and censor your opponents so you own the propoganda.

5) Control and force public education under the guise of wanting to improve education in order to indoctrinate the youth with your socialist views.

6) Twist a THEORY like global warming into a FACT. What ever happened to global cooling from the 70s. Then enact cap and trade and other measures so the government can control and scrape every dollar out of a prime mover of the economy-energy. Solar PV energy costs 2-5 times current grid energy sources and is only available a portion of the day.

Yes, I know comparisons to Nazis are crazy, but the term Nazi comes from National Socialism (Nationalsozialismus) and Obama was the #1 ranked liberal even left of the self proclaimed socialist Sanders.

This is how it starts, but when it goes too far it will get stopped fast and it might get really ugly.

NO Barack Hugo Chavez Adolf Obama in America.

I do not want the Government in my business. They created the Mortgage Crisis and the looming Social Security and Dollar collapse. The Government owes 10 Trillion Dollars in debt. 5 trillion to the laughable Social Security lock box which is full of IOUs from Uncle Sam and 5 Trillion in Debt to its Citizens and other Nations.

WEEEEZ BE BROKE, President Elect OBAMA. I think Bush knew this was coming and went ahead and blew the wad on the elderly and military before BO and the socialists could come and give it away in reparations, EICs for nontaxpayers and other welfare programs.

Obama is a Marxist

Obama is a Marxist know doubt in my mine.I think he is bright and cunning.The truth hurts.History repeats itself The united States is coming to a end as we know it very soon. The people and the culture is this country have destroyed it.The enemy is within are borders.I guess to some people that hate America there dream is coming true. Besides in the next century or two we will be a culture that was part of history just like dust blowing in the wind

Obama is a Marxist like Castro, Chavez, Odinga...

As someone born in Ecuador with friends and relatives in Latin America, I’m terrified watching how people in the United States are being manipulated just like people in Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador to put a Marxist in power.

The similarities between Rafael Correa’s campaign for president of Ecuador and that of Obama for U.S. president are amazing. Correa had no experience but was young, charismatic and had good speaking skills. Correa’s slogans were the same as Obama’s: CHANGE, YES WE CAN, etc.

Informed Ecuadorians were not able to convince their clueless compatriots that Correa was a fake and not the young and wonderful savior the media was portraying. They could not compete in ads with the millions Correa had (mostly from unknown sources).

Once he took over, Correa dissolved Congress and took control of the legislative and judicial powers. In other words, he became a dictator. Ecuadorians are poorer than ever. The CHANGE has been toward Marxism and greater poverty for all.

It’s now obvious that Correa works with Chávez and terrorists AGAINST Ecuadorians and the United States.

Most informed Ecuadorians, when they realized the similarities between Correa and Obama, felt confident that Americans could not be fooled as Ecuadorians had.

However, it seems many Americans are as clueless as the poorest and most ignorant people in Ecuador or Bolivia.

I hope it’s not too late and Americans realize that Obama is a Marxists with ties to Islamic terrorists, just like Castro, Chávez, Morales, Correa and Odinga.

Obama’s parents and mentors were Marxists. Obama’s friends and relatives are Marxists. Obama’s false promises are those of Marxists. Obama speaks like a Marxist. Obama lies and manipulates like a Marxist. Obama’s false Christianity (based on Black Liberation Theology) is Marxist. How can anyone believe that Obama is not a Marxist?

James Pethokoukis shows precious little understanding of what it means to be a Marxist. The US is mired in social programs, up to it's neck in unfunded mandates, strangled by odious, market-killing regulations not to mention the government institutions that must be created to administer largess (and let's be honest here, gov't is the primary recipient, not the sad-sacks they claim to be helping), and 35% corporate tax on top of every other state, federal, local, income, medicare, medicaid and sales taxes. And so with all this a neophyte might be confused by the simple relativity of it all. That is to say we are so hamstrung that We Are All Socialists Now.

You know, well gee, what's a few more govt agencies in such a huge economy? one might ask.

This is precisely the matter; such a childish mindset cannot fathom a simple principle like the market system, a system that arises from pure freedom, and just as important the responsibility for ones actions as the corollary that goes with it. But sees the "market" as soulless, a bottomless money-pit, a veritable cornucopia from which they can "spread the wealth around" while vilifying the very people who filled it with their endless toil. (Note Ayn Rand reminding us that the victim here sanctions the theft, as nonsensical as white guilt, but there it is) Soulless. Yes, because only in this way can they justify theft, no one is hurt by it, they are not taking from a *person*, otherwise they would not be able to sleep at night.

Now with the election but a week away and more of BO's Marxist ramblings coming to light it would be extremely difficult to argue that he is anything but Marxist.
