According to the existing Constitution - which for some reason is not studied in public schools (hmm!) - the federal and state governments are strictly limited in their monetary (Article One, Section Eight, Clauses 2, 5, and 6, and Section Ten, Clause 1). The Constitution forbids the states to make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debt, and it does not permit the federal government to make anything a legal tender. Competition between currencies was expected. Not such an "edgy" idea after all, eh?

im a woman, 20 years old...i live in san diego. ....i see the change in my peers who are more diverse, pro peace, anti war. i do believe my generation will change america. i can only imagine our Founding Fathers shaking in their graves with what has become our country.

to me its as if we live in a monarchy once again. where one person has the most money and is able to pretty much pay their way through their own damn campaign.

the federal government has too much control and STATES need to step in & take care of business. remember the constitution was written "BY the people FOR the people"

i mean the reason they elected George Washington for Presidency was because he was so liked and a nice man, and a military man at that too. but he was a normal guy...

not today though. hilary can campaign and owe 20 million dollars, when instead maybe that should go to a poorer city in the united states and get gangs off the streets, and help the youth who have problems and NEED help because they dont receive a good supporting stable household.

how many divorces are there in america?

how many child molesters?

abusers?

drug abusers?

ALCOHOLICS...which i find funny that the fed doesnt want marijuana, however, alochol is a poision and is actually toxic to your body.

murders?

people in prison?

homeless????

the list goes on and on, and every damn politican says the same thing to us. just as what our tiny little boxes want to say to us too. you dont think that the big companies just randomly put shows/commercials/news out there for a reason? is because they want us to see only what they want us to see. make sense?

ron paul is a man of honesty, and goodness and regardless of him becomming president, it doesnt matter. he has started a movement. and im not backing down from my beliefs. i used to be a republican but now im an independent.

you know instead how we put ourselves into these tiny boxes that label is...democrats..republicans...its all so silly. no one person is the same. so why even create two parties when in reality...we try and send this message to the youth about being yourself...but those labels we have placed on us take that INDEPENDENCE away. there should be no more parties and just have people run for the presidency as independents...lay out what they feel is good and let the people decide.

and there should be a limit on how much money u can raise. like you have got to be kidding me when these politicians raise millions of dollars and instead THAT could be going to help our own country???? our own people???

why doesnt bill gates & oprah and all of these richie rich people just give away one million dollars to some type of charity every year. im sure some do charity work or donate, but if youre raking in THAT much money you should be a good citizen and try and help your community...wherever youre from.

i just pray for our country everyday.

Write-In Versus Not to do so...

As Ron Paul stated "we really need to work within the two party system".

Unfortunately we see so many people disregard Dr. Paul's statement and plan on writing him in on the ballot.

We need to do what is best for the country. That didn't include voting 3rd party for Ross Perot in 1992 (19%) to put Bill Clinton into the presidency. And it won't be the proper thing to do this time either. It would only to put the most liberal and inexperienced of all Senators into power. Black America will likely become the scapegoats for the next several decades because of the gross failures B.O. will cause.

If McCain adopted Ron Paul's platform, i wouldn't vote for him. John McCain will say anything to get elected! After elected he'll have your ass thrown in jail if you're not with him. Ron Paul is the only candidate. His votes back up everything he stands for!

There really is no hope for America. I strongly recommend that you get out of dollars into something like gold or food. America is going down.

Ron Paul had all the right ideas but our mainstream media propaganda machine of the moneyed elite would not allow the freedom message to be heard by the masses.

It is very sad. We should all regret with strong remorse the fact that a man like Ron Paul could not get the nomination. This says a great deal about Americans, our media and our government. The End of the American Empire is here folks. We are witnessing it as I write this.
