Ron Paul's Libertarian Lesson for John McCain

Forget McClintObama

McCain will never change his warfare/welfare state views, no matter how much he lies about doing it. Just look at his voting record and that's all you need to know.

Forget McClintObama - Ron Paul is the only candidate who has the principles, the intelligence, and the record to be president. He walks the talk.

Write In Revolution

Unfortunately, most people who vote believe to vote for someone like Ron Paul, or just to write in who they would like, would be a vote taken away from one of the major parties thus wasting the vote so as to allow the candidate they would least likely want in there. And so it goes... the cycle continues to pick the lesser of many evils. If more people would think of just voting for who they believe, and stop this nonsense conformity based on fear, there might be a chance to get someone in there like Ron Paul. Demand paper ballots or a print out of your vote. Ron Paul is the only candidate who I feel knows what monetary policy means in reality. There's no way taxes can actually be cut until our country stops spending the way our government spends even when there is no war. The Iraq war was not only unjust, it along with other poor decisions by our policy makers will most likely bankrupt our nation. Limited government is the answer. That is probably another reason why so much tax money is used, and the dollar devalued by the Fed to create money when they need it. High taxes and a less productive economy feeds a larger and more interventionist government abroad and domestic. We've become less of a productive economy, and more of a service economy with ever growing government jobs. Unfair, regulated trade like NAFTA, are the opposite of free trade and only serve to lower our standard of living to that of other countries.

A STORM IS COMING...

There is a silent majority in this country standing behind Ron Paul. Those who are not "fanatics", "crazies", or "lunatics." They are not looking for attention. They do not want conflict here or abroad. They are looking for peace in every way imaginable. But they are angry - just like me - angry at the constant lies that are fed to us by our government and corrupt media outlets.

To those poor souls who are still in a slumber - a MATRIX of sorts - WAKE UP! I dare you to go to dailypaul.com and watch the videos:

McCain's "The Double-Talk Express"

"Ron Paul March on DC July 12, 2008 - Amazing Video"

"Ron Paul publicly names neocons"

"Not Over Yet!"

I'm not some idiot relying on one source for my information. There are a plethora of websites where Ron Paul's ideas are discussed at length by many intelligent people. I REFUSE to vote for the "LESSOR OF TWO EVILS" which is how I've always felt I had to vote in the past. NOT THIS TIME. We have a chance to right many wrongs by voting for Ron Paul and TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK, take back our rights and freedoms.

Wasn't one Clinton in the White House enough? Wasn't one inexperienced govenor or senator in the White House enough? Isn't McCain's double-talk an indication that he promises everything and nothing at the same time? Is that what you want? More broken promises, more lies, more taxes, tyranny, dictatorship? They will tell you EXACTLY what you want to hear - at least today, anyway. But that could change tomorrow. I guess it depends on the weather...

Get real, people. Wake up. Vote for Ron Paul. He really is our only HOPE for America. There will be a record number of young voters turning out this year and it won't be for Clinton, Obama or McCain. But you won't hear about that in the mainstream news. A STORM IS COMING...

McCain is not good

But Obama is even worse. We can't let a rascist, anti-American, terrorist appeaser into the White House.

We need a do-over on all the primaries!

James- I like your idea

Keep going with it. Do some research! McCain's record does not only NOT support "cutting the size of govt", it actually supports INCREASING it. It is not "LIBERTARIAN" to CUT TAXES James, THAT IS A CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN IDEA. I hope the caps help you mediaites understand. You don't have to spin EVERYTHING. The truth is okay once in a while, too. ACTUALLY-The truth is GREAT ALL THE TIME!

Also- McCain has virtually no knowledge of economics- you watched the debates.

So even if he would listen to anyone but his LIBERAL advisors, he wouldn't know how to use it.

Remember how Dr. Paul schooled McCain in that debate; he made Mccain look stupid, won the debate, and was never seen at any further debates. You know why? I did a little research. One of McCain's top advisors hosted that Iowa debate.

John "BOMBIRAN" McCain is not fit to be president. He violated his own CAMPAIGN REFORM Bill- "MCCAIN-FEINGOLD" which once the FEC CHAIR began to investigate, Bush promptly replaced the FEC CHAIR with 3 possible candidates who aren't preoccupied with following THEIR rules, therefore doing their job. And Bush and McCain aren't buddies? They boink at Bohemian Grove!

McCain is also not a natural born citizen, it was not until 16 years after his birth that children born in Panama to parents who were U.S. Citizens were considered natural born.

the only mention i've seen in the media of this James, said that Barack and Hil were OK with this "idiosyncracy". Is that how our NATION operates?

I suppose so.

WATCH OUT

RON PAUL AINT DROPPED OUT

Erin of OK @ May 20, 2008 18:39:00 PM

He was in KY

Dr. Paul had a support rally last week May 16th Friday at 2pm at the Bowling Green High School in Bowling Green, Ky. So to the bafoon from Ky (if he shall read this later) Where were YOU?? Where were all the KY residents that have his signs displayed and bumper stickers on thier cars?? Over 60% of those in attendance last week were supporters from TENNESSEE, a state that already had thier primary but believe that this man is the ONE Candidate that gives a big whooptie about this Country and the future it holds for our kids and grandchildren!!

Wake up people, its not about being a Democrate or Republican anymore, its about you keeping your homes, your jobs, and a meal in your selfish little bellies!!

Do you honestly believe all this is not just Partly your own faults?? Placing money hungry people in PUBLIC officies for the past 30+ years!! When is the last time as an adult you were debt free?? Honestly, greed itsself has put alot of good hard-working people on the street!! HOMELESS people weren't always homeless, alot of them fought in the last "economic war" that spit on those lucky enough to return home!! So get your heads outta your butts and read, research, if one of the other people that are running actually get it, YOU have 4 years to read, research and find another candidate that is able and willing to do what Ron Paul offered us.

A TRUE CHANGE.........Giving Government BACK to the people.....the reason our ggggrandparents came to this country to begin with!!!!!!! TEA PARTY ANYONE???

Vikki of KY @ May 20, 2008 18:27:08 PM

Ron Paul is the only man who can get this country back on track. John McCain makes me scared to live in this country.

Tony of IL @ May 20, 2008 17:51:56 PM

I'M VOTING TODAY!

Hey everyone, don't worry, I'm over here in Oregon and our primary is TODAY and I just want to say...don't worry, myself and several others in my town know that Ron is still running and we're all voting for him! I even tried to get some people to write me in as a precinct committee person, so I could support Dr. Paul at the national convention, but I think I got into that a little too late to beat out the names already on the ballot. Oh well, anyway when you see that little percentage of Oregon votes that went to Ron, one of those people was me! Woohoo! GO RON PAUL!

Craig of OR @ May 20, 2008 17:51:17 PM

If Ron Paul was more aggressive on foreign policy, I would have no problem with supporting him. His economic policy is in line with mine, but I am more concerned with national security now. But another reason I won't support Ron Paul is that his supporters (as attested to in this thread) are certifiably nuts. So, he may raise money and may even try to raise a stink at the GOP convention (his supporters will not get delegates to switch from McCain to him), but he is effectively done, and good riddance.
