A McCain-Huckabee Ticket? The Right Reacts

Back to blog

Not Perfect But The Best

Huckabee adds to the ticket;

1. He was a very successful Governor.

2. He has a broad appeal to the working people, Reagan Democrates.

3. He solidifies the Social Conservative.

4. A Country Club Republican image will not sell this year.

5. He is an excellent campaigner and relates well with people.

6. He has a good sense of humor.

7.He has developed a strong following during the campaign (my self included).

8. He has a very strong group of supporters who will actively work for the ticket.

Dynamic Duo

This puts McCain over the top & lets him focus on the war. A godly man is sorely needed in this country where I have watched my home state of IA become the Sodom & Gomorrah of the Midwest.

I am a walking miracle & have lived many verses of the Bible, so when I say we need the team, McCain/Huckabee, it is because I have seen several of GOD'S Miracles. My testimony is beyond human comprehension.

This country needs one now ----lets go team; & Mike, please include the former Govenor of South Carolina.

Mike Huckabee was a one-trick pony. After his win in Iowa, he was vastly overrated and, not to sound conspirasist (is that a word?), but I think he was promoted moreso by the lib media as a straw man that either Obama or Clinton could knock down. No, I think Huckabee should stay in the wings. There is absolutely one person I only support for veep, and that is Bobby Jindal. Young, vibrant, charismatic, diverse, and intelligent. What better way to show that the GOP is by far the party of "inclusiveness" than to nominate a rising star from India descent.

Hmmmm

So most of the emails were pro-Huckabee but you waited until the end to mention it, after listing three other people who were anti-Huckabee? That seems more like opinion-shaping than the inverted pyramid.

Flip your article, add a few more pro-Huckabee quotes and then you'll achieve the goal of this post.

Unless they have erased many of them, there were plenty of "Huckabee turns my stomach". Many were quite persuasive and most were far less emotional. I also thought the pro-Huck postings included some very crazy rantings.
