Hillary Clinton, Madame Vice President

Obama Needs Experience

I am so worried that Barack Obama won't pick Hillary and we will lose the election. We NEED a Democrat in the White House to clean things up. WE NEED A STRONG DEMOCRACTIC TICKET and we need those 17 million votes. Please Barack, don't blow this and waste all the hard work you BOTH have put into this campaign. United We Stand, Divided We FAIL!

Why all the controversy of race? This is about experience to me.

Bitter

I can't believe that the depth of dislike for Bill Clinton is based on the fact of not what he did in office as the President but what he did disgracefully as a man. He cheated on his wife with an intern. We get it. Hillary got cheated on. Most of cheaters don't have to come clean about it on national TV or have their job taken from them because of it. Sucks to be him. That you wouldn't want a man who was president for 8 years and brought the US to one of the greatest economic periods it has lived in, despite the great opposition from Republicans, as president? Instead, is it truly better to want someone like Bush, who messed up everything there is possible to mess up as President, for his JOB, who brought shame to the TITLE of U.S. President... I'm just shocked that people judge this not by how well someone was the President but on his personal life. And who is judging? Hypocrites, mostly. What do you want up there? God? Because it can't be possible that a human is the president, right? We are still talking about politics, are we not? And to be frank, there were much worse things Clinton could have done. He could have been like Bush, but unfortunately for us, Bush didn't get impeached for being a bad President who didn't really know the constitution very well (or reality and consequences, for that matter). Wow, what a surprise. You can get fired from being President for having low morale in your private life, but you can't for having low intelligence and bad decision making for your public one. Great. Like Bush have not lied MULTIPLE times to the public about policies that got people KILLED, tortured and the likes. But, oh, Clinton's the REAL big bad wolf here. McCain, who is likely to perpetuate the cycle of Bush - who demonstrated truely low ethics for human rights while he was in office - people would chose McCain over Clinton? And not actually Bill Clinton but Hilary Clinton. As if a married couples suddenly stopped being individuals and suddenly became one being. Are we talking BS soulmates here in the midst of a logical and hopefully intelligent debate on who is best ot run the country?!

Ideals are great on paper, but the better it sounds the harder it is to make into reality. Clinton has experience, she's got enemies - which means she has ideas for CHANGE that other people (who tend not to like change) don't like - and her husband, despite his shameful exit, was great at his JOB. Obama would be lucky if Clinton was VP, because women, like blacks, have been in slavery and facing discrimination for as long a time as blacks have been, if not longer. She's a strong candidate, and 18 million people would vote for her if she was on that ticket.

It's ridiculous that Bill be such a strong reason to not vote for her. She's not a puppet. He's not the one running. SHE is. It's time people get over it and realize that: YES, a woman ran for presidency! NOT her husband. Just her.

VP Clinton

If Obama does not choose Clinton as his VP, I, a democrat, will have to either not vote at all or be forced to vote Republican, again, I didnt and dont like Kerry and didnt and dont like Gore. I am not a Bush fan (Bush 1 and Bush 2) but, at the time, Bush 2 seemed ok...guess I was wrong about that!

VP - Only Hillary

If Hillary is not chosen as VP...this country is really in trouble...She has the experience and the intelligence...She WON the popular vote accross America...do any of you remember that??? The ignorance of some of the people who have left comments here truly amazes and frightens me. Obama seems like a decent man but should not be president. Not without more experience and understanding of the American people as a "whole" and foreign policy issues....and health care issues.....and our economy........but I would vote for him only if Hillary is behind him. If not my choice is McCain or leaving the country...Not a great choice. I know many many people who feel the same way...both democrats and repulicans.

Clinton has to be VP

If Obama wishes to Ignore half the party and cast them aside that is fine. I'll laugh at his ultimate failure for taking that path.

Clinton has to be the VP or he will lose.

Hillary Clinton For Vice President

The long, drawn out democratic primaries have left the democratic party split and weakened both Clinton's and Obama's chance of success against McCain. With the race for democratic nomination so close for so long, it is evident that the democratic party is split on the issue. As only five months of campaigning remain before the presidential election, the democratic nominee will need the full support of a unified democratic party. Chosing Hillary Clinton as Vice President will unify our party faster and more securely than any other choice Obama can make. Yes, there are supporters of both nominees who opposed the other candidate strongly, and no doubt a few votes may be lost, but having Clinton on his ticket will virtually, and instantaneously double Obama's support in the party. While Obama's campaign is based on change, Clinton supports virtually all of the issues that Obama campaigns for, and she has the experience in beaurocracy to assist and guide Obama in his presidency. A team of Obama and Clinton will ensure the ideals and movements ALL DEMOCRATS support will be fought for in congress, and, is the best bet for preventing another republican president in 2008.

Clinton as VP

I hope Obama will choose Hillary as his VP. I'm tired of seeing males have all the power in this country, and Hillary is the first woman to have a chance for this office

since 1984. I'm not certain I will vote for Obama without Hillary.

Clinton as VP

Obama needs Clinton to win. Also many of us Clinton Democrats will loose interest in the race in November. We may not vote for Mc Cain, but we might just stay home.

Clinton as VP

I think the only way Howard Dean and his good ol boy DNC comittee can unite this party would be to offer the V.P. slot to Sen.Clinton. Unless she is on the ticket my family will be voting for McCain!
