The truth

It is a known fact at this point, by every sane American, that Obama is not going to raise taxes on ANYONE making under $250,000.00. This tax break will represents 90% of ALL Americans, get it now? I'm so tired of hearing the same sad lie by the GOP, let's call it what it is, a pathetic lie. If that is the only reason anyone thinks Obama is a "bad man", think again. McCain has thrown lie after lie at Obama in spite of facts.A desparate McCain has screamed and frowned and nothing has shaken the resolve of the American people to pull themselves back together as one country. This is America people, not a red or blue Party. We are and should be just one people. Once the GOP is no longer inflicting their color coded fear to divide and conquer our own people, turning us all against each other, once we take our country back from hate mongers and war mongers, who care nothing about the real people, only the large corporate co.'s count to the GOP: only then will this country come back from the depths of financial ruin brought on by a corrupt GOP. If Americans feel the only way to show they are good "patriots" is by voting Republican, think what that party has done for YOU in the past 8 years? Look up these "facts" that you throw out there from A.C.O.R.N and the alleged "terrorist" Obama is said to hang out with and consider: McCain was in the same air space as many republican senators as they fell from grace, does that same air make McCain also guilty by association? Think people, before it is too late. You are being taken for the most expensive ride of your childrens and grandchildrens lives if you buy the lie for another 4 or 8 more years because you love a party that has lied to you, more then you love your own country. McCain is desparate and quickly becoming a pathetic old man who wants to win more then he wants to help our country. Your "maverick" didn't even get to pick his own VP choice, which was going to be Lieberman. If you assume the same people who ran Bush aren't going to also run McCain, think again. Stop allowing this party to take from America the thing that once made us great. Think about what this country needs right now and what you all need right now.We need change and that change is not John McCain, I wish it was. I used to be a supporter of McCain myself. Whoever this man is, he is no maverick, no honest man and certainly no judge of character, look at Palin, and "Joe the Plumber".Joe isn't even a licensed plumber, nor does Joe pay taxes and yet McCain wasted his last chance to win us over in the debates to talk about "Joe the Plumber" to support the Obama tax increase lie again. Joe, who is neither honest nor trully harmed by Obama's taxation, since "Joe" has never made over 250,000. in his life and chances are he never will, therefor under Obama Joe will get a tax break, like the rest of us, if some of you don't screw things up by choosing the GOP once more. They are counting on us being that stupid that blind.Don't help them.

Obama on energy

John McCain, needs to open up with a policy going after Obama on drilling and the national security issue of drillng now, everywhere. Pres. Bush's executive order, on drilling, did

cause a drop in gas prises. Pelosi, and Reid, need to let congress give an up or down vote on the energy bill now before congress.

No Bamanation 2008

I have a small business for over 25 years that is just barely staying open - It has been hard these last two years. I cannot afford higher taxes and I do not have health insurance.

Obama's proposals would hurt small business and he also has said he would tax the poor and middle class. He is a freshman Illinois senator who believes in Black Liberation Theology - look at his church of over 18 years - Has everyone loss their mind because he is the first Black person to run for president - at our expense! He has no experience - that's not to hard to figure out. Take a look at his voting record, he does not vote on the issues. Hillary's views are opposite of Obama's. Obama is excepting money from the rich, how does he plan to paid them back and has spent more on his campaign then any other in the history of running for president - this is not change. Obama is a taker and talk is cheap - he should be an actor. I am now voting republican! go to www.gop.com and learn more facts...

Barack Hussein O' Bomb Us!

Barack Hussein is totally devoid of any substance. He speaks of what kind of change you can believe in?! Pulling our troops out of Iraq & sticking your finger in the air to see where the Islamo-nazis are going to go next attacking our cities is not very smart at all if you ask me! Also, where will this great communicator of nothing be getting all the money needed for our new imposed utopian paradise?

Hurricane of PA @ Feb 16, 2008 13:31:34 PM

Um - can you provide the evidence that he is going to raise taxes on social security? Also, when you talk about higher income taxes perhaps you could state that it is only on the rich - not on the middle class? The way you put it, the middle class to poor casual reader would think they were gonna get screwed and you know that isn't what his policies are about.

Why doesn't Obama come clean and talk about how he is going to pay for his Changes? He bad mouthed Exxon/Mobil for making too much money in the last quarter, leaving one with the idea he does like corporate profits, except to tax them at higher rates. What happens if oil prices go down, and Exxox/Mobil sells it's high priced crude at a loss? Does the Company get a rebate?

At what point is an estate too wealthy, so it needs to be taxed more?

Isn't this talk simply redistribution of the wealth?

Nationalist folklore

You one kind of people out there (nationalist) assertions that hold on policies, mythology, ect dont have a clue concern'n President Obama Global Policies.... They use terms such as white women, conservatives, blacks, youth, blue and red ,statistics to describe a type of voter like its some type of new human being that most of us did'nt no exist and in the same breath never speak of mrs hillary on her own terms the media always has to include President Obama to get any reasonable man to pay attention....MMMM

My fear is this: Yes Mr. Obama will most likely pull the troups out of Iraq within his first 16 months.

I also believe he will get us involved in Africa, and this is also a problem area, where we will be stuck in.

My wish is, that Mr. Obama will actually do what he said he will.

I can see a flaw in his health insurance policy, that he will leave it up to the adults to purchase insurance, which will be a problem.

I also believe that he has said, he would make it mandatory for all working adult to invest in a 401K from their employer.
