Struggling Romney Needs an 'Oprah Moment' to Win

Back to blog

So in other words, the problem is not Romney, but that Romney doesn't fit the people's stupidity. Frankly, I want my wife and my family to express empathy for my problems not the POTUS. I want the POTUS to fix what he actually has control over and do it well.

The fact that people care more about image and perception rather than real results, is the same as saying voters are idiots!

Finally, if your rationale is correct, how is McCain won. He doesn't exactly give me the warm fuzzies, or make me think he really cares about me. What a bunch of B.S. The way a POTUS shows he cares is by betting good results for all Americans, not by crying in a diner or thinking up the best one liners.

Mitt Romney won in Wyoming and currently has the most delegates to the Republican national convention. He is far from out of this race. I wish the MSM would stop implying that he is dead in the water because he isn't.

Romney NH problem

The problem for Romney was the independent vote. Among republicans, he was the winner. If this had been a closed primary, Romney would have pulled it off. But a win is a win for Mac.

service

Romney is deeply concerned with people. He turned his whole company out into the streets of New York along with himself, and he hired a private detective to look for a lost daughter of a fellow worker. Word got out that a person in Romney's neighborhood needed a large stump removed and when he came home, there was Romney and his son in the hole, along with others, digging away at the stump. Romney has always had both arms out to people. His whole attitude is to serve.

EXACTLY

Good Article. I agree whole heartedly with your analysis of the situation. He is the best candidate i think by far with the best record for the conservative ticket. However, regualar people just are not identifying with him. He needs to talk in more depth about what he has done instead of simply saying that he truned around the olympics. I dont hink most people know what was really accomplished there. The country would have been disgraced had he not done that.
