Would a Bush Bailout Save the GOP?

Back to blog

Bush is hurting us twice!

Bush is screwing us twice. It is not bad enough that we had to suffer through a housing crunch, but now we have to pay for it again! I just wrote a blog with a few more facts, but I'm sure I will get a load of ignorant responses.

housing bailout

It is disgusting to me as a republican and taxpayer to even think of

a massive housing bailout, its sticks in my gut to think that my taxpayer

dollars would go to immature people who can't afford to be in a home

but mistated their income and any other means just to get a mortgage,

these people weren't fools, they knew they couldn't re-pay these loans,

now everbodys crying for the poor homeowner, what about the people

like myself and others who saved and managed their finances,is anybody

considering us and the un-fairness of a taxpayer bailout,i can't even get a

decent return on my retirement ira because foolish ben bernanke is trying

so hard to rescue these people,i say let the markets clear this junk out

and start afresh with traditional mortgage products that require some money

down and good credit.
