Saving money painlessly!

I find that saving money is alot easier if I don't see it first! Having it taken from my paycheck and deposited into my credit union account before I get paid means it accumulates almost without effort! (and I don't really miss what I don't have in the first place!)

kids saving money

When mommy and daddy don't open the wallet for every rinky dink thing that the kids want, kids have no choice but to learn how to save money. Sure you got 20 bucks for your birthday...but it's a whole year until your next birthday.

I know items 1 and 2 describe me. I try to fulfill #3 and #4. Although saving is made easier when I have a goal...such as a vacation or car or something.
