memory lane

I can remember the last two houses we looked at. I was in the military then and didn't know how much I would be home with my wife and daughter. With time and money I can make anyplace livable. I can fix most anything.

We found two houses in our price range and located nearly where we needed them to be. The cheaper had unfinished renovation and limited shop/storage space for $9.5 k less but newer, more floor space and better floor plan.

I chose the smaller, more expensive, renovated older house with the big workshop. I didn't have to do too much maintenance immediately and over the last 15 years I've been changing what I don't like and making upgrades.

Buy only what you can afford in time and money. Don't bite off more than you can chew!
