Saving money and eating great!

My family saves money by not eating out as much as we used to. We love restaurant food, especially some of our favs like Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits! I recently found a site that shows you how to cook all of your favorite recipes from restaurants. You can check it out here http://kevkev227.drecipes.hop.clickbank.net/ Just copy and paste the link in your browser. You will save tons of money eating at home and the best part is you won't have to give up all of your favorite restaurant foods.

Beth - try Julia Child's recipe, she has a good one.

garlic bread

Somehow, I don't think Gwyneth worries about saving money. Seems like an oxymoron!

Anyway, I was hoping for a good recipe for making a baguette from scratch, not just a way to put garlic butter on it.

Honestly!

Quick and easy garlic bread

Foodies would surely consider this to be cheating, but here's how I do it, and it's still really good:

Toast some regular bread in a regular toaster. Spread it with margarine (or butter) and sprinkle on some garlic powder and some dried herbs of your choice. If you have a Penzey's Spices near you or are inclined to order from their website, their "Mural of flavor" herb blend makes a great addition.
