Revealed: Starbucks Surprise

Update on the Starbucks surprise: The company has introduced a new kind of roast, which it calls its “smoothest coffee ever.” If you’ve sipped it, let us know what you think.

starbucks over expensive coffee

Starbucks just doesn't get it? The reason why they need to close stores, lay people off and appear to change their focus is because sales are down. Why are they down? THE PRICE. Not the taste. Every single finance advisor recommends that in order to keep your expenses in line is to get rid of the 'latte factor'. Stop spending $4-$5 for a pennies worth of coffee. Duh.

I can get a great cup of organic, trade-free coffee at McDonald's for $1.25. And if you are a senior citizen, the same cup costs just sixty five cents.

It's the economy, stupid (Starbucks)

Finally, I have tasted it... and here's my verdict: It does taste better than the previous types - it is less strong/harsh on the taste buds and stomach. I don't know if it's all THAT, but it's an improvement.

I like the shill

I have no problem with people posting positive comments, but damn that Virtual Tour post went a little too far into the slickly crafted to be believed.
