Today's guest post comes from Amal Rhoe of CardOffers.com , which offers comparisons on different credit cards:

With the current economic debacle, many are cutting back on spending, particularly when it comes to using credit cards. But the credit card in your wallet can actually afford you simple luxuries.

There is no time like the present to fully understand credit card benefits and perks. Read the fine print and take advantage of your credit card. Luckily, CardOffers.com lists card perks that are available to you now, just for carrying your credit card. Best of all, no points are needed to claim these prizes.

Here are some examples:

These perks may seem like something only the wealthy can experience, but from luxe shopping experiences to simple discounts and free shipping on online purchases, most credit cards give you great benefits for every lifestyle and budget.

(To find out what your card offers, visit CardOffers.com; for more details on the benefits, check out the official American Express, MasterCard, and Visa websites.)

Definitely Yes!

Credit cards are great for money management and the payback can really help your budget. In the past 10 years, I have bought two GM vehicles and used the rewards from my GM credit card as part of my down payment amounting to almost $6300. That's a good return for purchasing the things that I normally would buy - gas, groceries, doctor visits, medications, etc. For those who say they are not that disciplined, I say, keep your receipts and tally them on a daily or weekly basis to make certain you stay within your income. Don't buy anything you wouldn't purchase if you were paying cash. Be certain to look for your bill in the mail so that you can pay off the monthly balance on time and avoid interest charges.

Great article

Wow, I had no idea. Very helpful article. I just have one credit card which is my Visa that I always use.. I pay on time. The rewards I'm offered aren't very great. Do you recommend switching or opening another credit card? And which one would you say rewards the best? Please give us more articles like this one, Amal Rhoe!!!
