I like tradition ,been good enough for so many years .wine is some thing to be enjoyed and reflect on the present and past. Not rushed up because one doe"nt want to take the time to remove the cork.

Switch to Whiskey.
It's faster and takes less to get where you're going.
Add Coke if it's too harsh.

Saving Money on Wine
There are so many choices for wine drinkers right now and they only lead to better places. Yes, one can certainly pay less and find drinkable wines. Or even better savy shoppers will find many special prices for wines that have been slow to sell and are now on sale.
Or consumers can skip a latte a couple of times a week and continue to enjoy the caliber of wines they drinking.
Exploring new regions will lead to wonderfull options too. My favorite is New Zealand.

Great idea, Kimberly. I agree, that even during tough times, you have to do something to enjoy life. Budgeting doesn't have to be painful, as long as you account for a little bit of fun in your monthly plan.
In reference to cheap (but good) wine, I've heard a lot about Trader Joe's "Two Buck Chuck". Also, there seems to be a new buzz around boxed wine that's actually drinkable.
