Secret Stash, Part II

LIfe isn't a fairy tale; keep the cash stash

Life is all about how you handle Plan B. Things happen -- husbands (or wives) who seem so great turn out to be abusive, or dangerous, or addicted. Don't be naive. Keep the cash stash, and thank God every day if you don't ever need it.

Good advice on one level. Bad advice (when your husband, who actually loves you and wouldn't have mistreated you in a thousand years, finds out you had to have a "just in case" fund that you kept a secret).

If you know you NEED a "secret stash", don't get married, ever.
