Geography
Hot summers and mild winters are common in this city built along the Trinity River in north-central Texas.
Cultural Attractions
Summer musicals, a symphony and opera, and the Museum of Art round out the Dallas arts scene, but don't miss the Sixth Floor Museum in the old Texas School Book Depository building, which marks the spot where Lee Harvey Oswald fired his infamous shots.

Historical
