Geography
Bedford is northeast of Fort Worth, and northwest of Dallas.
Cultural Attractions
While Onstage is a performing arts theater within the city limits, Bedford is also a short drive to all that the Dallas-Fort Worth area has to offer, including art museums, performing arts, and professional sports teams.
Recreation
Bedford boasts eight city parks, including the Boys Ranch Park & Activity Center, which contains a small urban lake.
Historical
The year 1914 marked the opening of the Old Bedford School, which was the largest structure in the area when it was finished. It is now a museum, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
