Geography
Ballwin, a suburb of St. Louis, is 20 miles west of the city and the Mississippi River.
Cultural Attractions
The city features an event called Ballwin Days, which includes a five-mile parade, sports tournaments, carnival rides, a talent show, and live entertainment.
Recreation
Ballwin has three parks and several recreation centers, offering activities including hiking, fishing, organized sports, and swimming. In addition, there is an excellent golf course nearby.
Historical
Ballwin was named by its founder, John Ball, on Feb. 9, 1837, and remains the only town in the country with the name.
