Geography
Beverly is flanked on its west side by the Danvers River and is situated on Massachusetts Bay.
Cultural Attractions
The town is home to the Fish Flake District, a National Historical Site, and the North Shore Music Theatre, which produces off-Broadway musicals.
Recreation
The exclusive waterfront Kernwood Country Club is just across the bay in Salem, Mass.
Historical
One of the oldest communities in Massachusetts, Beverly is the home of the country’s first Sunday school and cotton mill. The first ship commissioned by the U.S. Navy made its maiden voyage from Beverly Harbor.
