Geography
Waipahu is just northwest of Pearl Harbor.
Cultural Attractions
The community is home to Hawaii's Plantation Village, an outdoor museum with furnished homes and other community structures that display the lifestyles of Hawaii's plantation workers.

Historical
Waipahu began as a work camp for the Oahu Sugar Co. in 1897.
