Climate
While the temperature and humidity remain relatively warm and stable throughout the year, the rainfall spikes during the summer months.
Geography
Hudson is about an hour north of Tampa and the Pinellas Peninsula on central Florida’s west coast.
Recreation
Residents of the Hudson area have access to beautiful beaches and golf courses as well as various outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and boating via the Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park and the Hudson Marina.
Historical
In 1878, Isaac Hudson built a home near a spring in the area that later became the town’s first post office, leading to the modern name of the community.
Economy
While still mostly rural in its appearance, Hudson is experiencing a housing boom largely attributed to its natural beauty and the area’s prominence as a regional vacation spot.
