Dunedin has warm weather year round but receives above-average rainfall in the summer months.
Geography
Dunedin is on the Pinellas Peninsula, north of St. Petersburg in the Tampa Bay area.
Cultural Attractions
Caladesi Island State Park, accessible by boat or ferry from Honeymoon Island, contains a nationally-recognized white sand beach offering swimming, hiking, fishing, and sunbathing.
Recreation
Dunedin’s surrounding area includes several state and local parks. It is also the spring training home for the Toronto Blue Jays and the hometown for the minor-league Dunedin Blue Jays.
Historical
Dunedin is the oldest community south of Cedar Key. Its first settlers arrived in the 1850s.
