Loveland was the first Colorado city to adopt an art in public places ordinance. There are currently more than 200 works on display, with an emphasis on bronze sculpture, owing to the number of bronze foundries in the town.

The city's Chamber of Commerce created the Valentine remailing program over 60 years ago. The city receives more than 200,000 valentines from around the world and remails them with a special verse and hand-stamped postmark.
